Sitting is the mudra of the seat. The mantra for this is: "Jala Jama Turukhe Jayanati Priyaya Svaha." This is the mantra of the seat. These are the twenty kinds of near offerings to the lord of the Yakshas. To the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the past, offer all these offerings that arise from the mind, through seeing and hearing, with the mantras and mudras of their own nature. Then offer oneself, confess sins, rejoice in merits, supplicate the Tathagatas, please them with praises, recite the Pratītyasamutpāda Sutra and the special declarations, recite the hundred-syllable mantra, urge with verses of offering, constantly give water, and offer tormas to all the deities. Having done all these, hold the thread of the Bodhicitta mantra completely and meditate on oneself as if one were in the abode of the Yakshas. Place the syllable OM (藏文:ཨོཾ་,梵文天城体:ॐ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) on the crown of the head. Place the syllable JAM (藏文:ཛཾ་,梵文天城体:जं,梵文罗马拟音:jaṃ,汉语字面意思:让) firmly in the mouth.

Possessing great compassion, in order to accomplish everything that sentient beings desire to hear about the discernment of the lord of harmful places, please, Bhagavan, speak. Then, again, the Bhagavan, looking at the assembly complete with everything, spoke this discernment of harmful places. First, perform the preliminary approach with the ritual previously described. Then, again, make offerings of incense and flowers to the lord of harmful places. Entering the ocean water and reciting ten thousand times will accomplish the preliminary approach. Then, on the first day of the waxing moon, go to the bank of a river flowing into the ocean, enter the water up to your waist, and observe a fast for one day and night. If you burn one hundred thousand handfuls of water, you will find a thousand gold coins. With this same method, enter the water up to your knees and burn ten thousand offerings, you will be given ten villages or a thousand gold coins in abundance. In that same river, enter the water up to your waist, mix lotus flowers with yogurt, butter, and honey, and burn ten thousand offerings, you will find a treasure vase. Again, with this same method, burn eight thousand red flowers, and you will control the king. Light a fire with the wood of the Ashoka tree, mix the ears of Apaamarga with butter and honey, and burn ten thousand offerings, and you will control the Chakravartin king. Light a fire intensely with the wood of Apaamarga, coat the seeds of Apaamarga with yogurt, butter, and honey, hold them with the nameless finger and thumb, and you will see treasure in your own home. Then, each day, coat sesame flowers with yogurt, butter, and honey, and burn eight thousand offerings in three periods, and you will obtain what you seek to accomplish. In one day, without soliciting two hundred attendants, you will also find food and drink. Coat the flowers of the Ashoka tree with yogurt, butter, and honey, and burn eight thousand offerings in three periods, and you will obtain what you have requested. Burn the flowers of the Ashoka tree and the seeds of Apaamarga together, coat them with yogurt, butter, and honey, and burn ten thousand offerings, and you will control the king's daughter.
