If you go to the bank of a great river and then recite, whatever activities you desire, whatever rituals, whatever offerings, perform them according to the Dharma, perform the rituals, torma, and recitations in that way, and perform a clean fire offering, then all purposes will be accomplished, there is no doubt about it. Always speak the truth, delight in learning, and possess all great accomplishments. If you want to accomplish a spirit, fast for three days, facing butter. On the fourteenth, offer the torma, for six months or half a month. Stay under a tree or in a monastery, making the protection of solitude the best, and also eat begged food. For six months or one month, it doesn't matter whether a god or a demon resides there. For one month, stay in a livestock pen, eating yogurt, milk, and butter.
