It should be widely applied. With the palms together, join the thumbs and little fingers, and make the remaining fingers in the nature of a vajra. This is the mudra of the three realms that accomplishes all actions. The mantra is: Namo Ratna Trayāya, Namaḥ Ścaṇḍa Vajrapāṇaye, Mahā Yakṣa Senāpataye, Hiri Miri Bhiri Riṇi Svāhā. Sanskrit Romanization: namo ratna trayāya, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage to the Three Jewels!), (Tibetan: ན་མཤྩཎྜ་བཛྲ་པཱ་ཎ་ཡེ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: नमश्चण्डवज्रपाणये, Sanskrit Romanization: namaścaṇḍavajrapāṇaye, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage to the Wrathful Vajrapani!), (Tibetan: མ་ཧཱ་ཡཀྵ་སེ་ནཱ་པ་ཏ་ཡེ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: महा यक्ष सेनापतये, Sanskrit Romanization: mahā yakṣa senāpataye, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage to the Great Yaksha Senapati!), (Tibetan: ཧི་རི་མི་རི་བྷི་རི་རི་ཎི་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हिरि मिरि भिरि रिणि स्वाहा, Sanskrit Romanization: hiri miri bhiri riṇi svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Hiri Miri Bhiri Rini Svaha!). It should be applied separately. Join the fingers together and make a fist, extend the middle fingers and join them, then slightly bend the index fingers outwards and place the two thumbs in the middle. This is the mudra of the Great Lord. The mantra is: Namaḥ Samanta Buddhānāṃ Rudrāya Svāhā. From the mudra of the Great Lord, extend the index fingers. This is the mudra of the Water Goddess. The mantra is: Namaḥ Samanta Buddhānāṃ Umāye Svāhā. From the open palm, join the tips of the little fingers, then place the ring fingers behind them. At that time, join the two middle fingers at the third joint, then join the two index fingers at the first joint. This is the mudra for empowering all non-gods. Both should also be made in the nature of a vajra and joined together. The mudra that destroys and breaks the wheel of all non-gods is, here, to reverse the fingers and make the shape of a turtle. This is the turtle mudra. Placing it on the crown of the head is the mudra for empowering all non-gods. Place the left hand below, and place the right hand on top of it, with the thumbs separated. This is the turtle empowerment mudra. Place the left hand in the form of a vajra, and place the right hand in the form of a vajra pointing downwards, and then join them directly. This is another turtle mudra. Reverse the upper and lower hands, and at the heart, make the fingers point upwards and the thumbs aligned. This is the turtle mudra. With the vajra, align the lower index fingers upwards. This is the vajra underground mudra. Make a fist, extend the index finger, and place the thumb on the middle and ring fingers. This is the mudra of the staff. From that mudra, place the thumb at the base of the index finger. This is the mudra of the hammer. Make a fist and join the middle finger and thumb together. This is the mudra of the crow's beak. Make the left hand in the form of a vajra and place it towards the heart.

With the right hand raised above the vajra and the leg in a stretched and contracted position, this is the mudra of subduing the vajra. The left hand holds a single-pointed vajra towards the heart, and the three fingers of the right hand are spread out, with the hand in a stretched and contracted position, this is the mudra of subduing other vajras. The mantra is: Oṃ Bibhinda Bibhinda Hūṃ Phaṭ (藏文:ཨོྃ་བི་བྷིནྡ་བི་བྷིནྡ་ཧཱུཾ་ཕཊ།,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ bibhinda bibhinda hūṃ phaṭ,汉语字面意思:嗡,贝宾达,贝宾达,吽,啪). This is the second chapter, on mantras and mudras, from the Tantra of the Noble Vajra Underground. When a brave person desires to enter the gate of glory, they should first perform the preliminary retreat of Vajra Krodha and then enter. The preliminary retreat involves reciting eight hundred thousand times, begging for food, and refraining from speech. With a mind of loving-kindness towards all sentient beings, and rejoicing in offering to the Tathagatas, one should create a stupa of the essence of dependent origination. In front of it, at the confluence of a mountain or river, or beside a solitary tree, or in a cattle pen, or at the edge of the land, or at any stupa, one should remember the mind of enlightenment, pray to all the Tathagatas, confess sins, dedicate merit in the unsurpassed way, recite the sacred Dharma, and remember it. Remaining in the work of the stupa, abandoning attachment to body and life, one should perform mudras in the three times, receive empowerment, and bathe in the three times. In this way, one should perform the retreat. If one sees inauspicious signs in dreams or in reality, one should not enter immediately. If one sees in a dream a great elephant being oppressed, tormented, fleeing, falling, or someone dying, then one may enter. Or in reality, if the threshold of a door is broken, a great stone falls, one angrily summons a great planet, or if one sees poisonous creatures, fierce beings, terrifying beings, nagas, great elephants, lions, tigers, buffaloes, or goes into the midst of enemies and it becomes difficult to see, if all of these are transformed into loving-kindness, then one may enter. All the gods will become servants. This is the third chapter, on the preliminary retreat ritual of Vajra Underground, the King of Wrathful Ones. One should know the characteristics of holes. Wherever there is flowing water without a peak, it will emit the sound of earth.
