Performing eight thousand fire offerings with wool pellets will grant mastery. Performing eight thousand fire offerings with agarwood pellets will bring joy to all beings. One will also become the most excellent speaker in the royal palace. Place sweet flag in the mouth and recite until the three siddhis are attained. When warm, it tames the mind and makes one brave. When smoking, it makes one invisible and causes burning. A knowledge holder should recite sixteen hundred thousand times before the noble Avalokiteśvara. Eating alms, bathing three times a day, and sitting near a hero's seat, one should recite five hundred thousand times. Then, the desired siddhis will arise, and one will dwell with the gods and obtain whatever one desires. Then, a white conch shell inscribed with letters, placed in wolfsbane, should be recited until the three siddhis are attained. When warm, the mind becomes tamed. When smoking, one becomes invisible and causes burning. A knowledge holder should recite sixteen hundred thousand times before the noble Avalokiteśvara. Eating alms, not speaking, and lying on a bed of kuśa grass, one should perform eight thousand fire offerings with nāga-keśara. On the seventh day, one will find the desired daughter. If one wishes to control a widow, on the eighth day of the dark fortnight, observe a three-night fast, and in front of the noble Avalokiteśvara (འཕགས་པ་སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་དབང་ཕྱུག), perform eight thousand fire offerings of white flowers, and for whatever one seeks, the best assistance will be given. To bind the mandala of all those with fangs with white mustard seeds: when entering among lions, tigers, thieves, and elephant herds, one should remember, and by abiding in the Uposatha, bathing at the three times, generating the mind of enlightenment, abiding in loving-kindness, wishing to benefit all sentient beings, recite three million times in front of stupas and images containing relics. Then, the noble Avalokiteśvara (འཕགས་པ་སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་དབང་ཕྱུག) should be invoked: on an undamaged, soft cloth, white like an autumn cloud, residing on a lotus, holding a lotus in hand, adorned with all ornaments, wearing a crest of hair, with a skirt of silk and cloth. In front of stupas and images containing relics, place the cloth painting and recite three million times. Then, on the full moon day, make great offerings to the Buddha Bhagavan. Then, observe a three-night fast, and with Arista wood mixed with milk, honey, and butter, perform twenty-four thousand fire offerings. Light rays will emanate from the noble Avalokiteśvara (འཕགས་པ་སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་དབང་ཕྱུག), the earth will shake, the sound of a great drum will be heard, the flame of a lamp will increase, bouquets of flowers will sway, and the cloth painting will move, and then accomplishment will occur. Then, all actions will become auspicious. Wealth will be given. One will rejoice in all accomplishments. Having become empowered, one will abide. Then, if one wishes to prepare eye medicine, wrap the ear eye medicine in the leaves of the Ashvattha tree, and recite until three signs of accomplishment appear. Make a wooden staff of sixteen or ten fingers' length made from red sandalwood.
