All will become like that. Then, ascending to the mountaintop, place the elder brother of the scroll painting facing west, and manifest yourself facing east. Sit near the cushion of kusha grass, adorned with white lotus, white sandalwood, and saffron. Recite one hundred thousand times, offering to the Blessed One Shakyamuni Buddha, and all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Pratyekabuddhas, and noble Shravakas from under the scroll painting. Also burn camphor incense, as much as is available. Offer flowers to the sons of the gods, as many as can be found. Then, in the direction of miracles, on the white first or second night of the month, at midnight, make a lotus-shaped hearth in front of the scroll painting, ignite a fire of white sandalwood, mix saffron and camphor together, and perform eight thousand fire offerings according to your ability, and then perform protection. After that, light will emanate from the Blessed One Shakyamuni Buddha, and a burning scene will appear around the scroll painting. Then, the practitioner will offer white lotus flowers adorned with sandalwood and saffron. Then, the practitioner, in an eager manner, circumambulates the scroll painting three times, prostrates to the Buddha, all Bodhisattvas, Pratyekabuddhas, and noble Shravakas, and then, from the edge of the scroll previously drawn by the practitioner, fearlessly grasp the scroll painting. The moment it is grasped, one will fly up, and merely by shaking the hand drum, one will transcend the world of Brahma and abide completely in the realm of Sukhavati. There, the Blessed One Tathagata, born from the power of the wonderful lotus, the king resides, living and enjoying, and also teaching the Dharma, enjoying happiness without aging or death for thousands of great kalpas. The place where the painted image resides will be blessed by all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. One will also know those blessings. One will also transcend thousands of Buddha-fields. One will also manifest thousands of bodies. One will also truly manifest various miraculous powers.
