One should make one hundred and eight offerings. Also offer flowers, incense, fragrance, and lamps. During the three times, one should scatter one hundred and eight flowers towards the image of the noble Avalokiteśvara. One should also fumigate Vajrapāṇi with incense. One should prostrate to the ten directions. One should offer to the four directions, including the goddess of the west, the fearful mother, the unparalleled mother of the east, and the conch-bearing mother of the upper direction, tormas with various flavors, as well as milk porridge, yogurt, and rice. Thus, no distraction or fear will arise, and the mind will not be confused. One should recite one hundred and eight times over all one hundred and eight flowers and make supplications. Having done the preliminary retreat in this manner, then on the fifteenth day, place four full vases in that place, and also place incense, sandalwood, white cardamom, and camphor. Also place four lamps, flowers, incense, umbrellas, banners, various flags, and decorate well with gold and silver vessels, and also place milk porridge mixed with honey, yogurt, rice, and other offerings and tormas as available in the four directions. Recite once over the one hundred and eight flowers as before, and then scatter them in the four directions. Then recite once over three hundred sets of one hundred and eight flowers, and then touch each flower to the image of the noble Avalokiteśvara. Then that image will move and a great sound will also arise. Rays of light will also arise. The earth will also shake. Then all actions and all needs will be accomplished. 也将会舍弃贪恋、嗔恨和愚痴，永远也不会与痛苦分离。具有稳固、力量、巨大精进，具有光辉，根器敏锐，具有智慧，对一切众生具有慈悲心，通晓仪轨，临终时能见到诸佛世尊，也能见到圣观自在，安住于慈爱并如说法般地直至死亡。如欲求佛刹，或转轮王的大家族，无论忆念何处，都能于彼处受生，并且还能获得无数的其他功德。祈请！世尊，如是，此法类和陀罗尼的秘密咒语之根本，是众多功德的来源。此法类，若无如来加持，听闻也无益，受持也无益，读诵也无益，供养也无益，书写 也无益，请人抄写也无益，信仰也无益。即使见到，也不会听闻；即使听闻，也会因心散乱而听闻，不会信仰，不会恭敬。即使恭敬，也会以烦恼和害心之心来恭敬。即使抄写或请人抄写，也会心念其他。那是因为什么呢？因为这是他前世业力的果报，因此会体验到那个业，并且会产生怀疑。即使造作五无间罪，如果修持三次，一切愿望也会如实成就，对此，要做到没有犹豫，没有二心，不生怀疑。之后，世尊对菩萨摩诃萨圣观自在给予称赞道：善哉！
English
Also, one will be freed from attachment, hatred, and ignorance, and will never be separated from suffering. One will possess steadfastness, strength, great diligence, splendor, sharp faculties, wisdom, a heart of compassion for all beings, knowledge of rituals, and at the time of death, one will see the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and also the noble Avalokiteśvara. One will abide in loving-kindness and, like teaching the Dharma, will continue until the time of death. As one desires a Buddha-field, or a great family of a universal monarch, wherever one remembers, one will be born there, and one will also obtain countless other qualities. Petition! O Bhagavat, thus, this Dharma category and the root of the secret mantra of the dharani are the source of many qualities. This Dharma category, without the blessing of the Tathagata, is neither beneficial to hear, nor beneficial to hold, nor beneficial to recite, nor beneficial to offer, nor beneficial to write, nor beneficial to have someone write, nor beneficial to have faith. Even if one sees it, one will not hear it; even if one hears it, one will hear it with a distracted mind, and one will not have faith, nor will one show reverence. Even if one shows reverence, one will show reverence with a mind filled with afflictions and harmful intent. Even if one writes or has someone write it, one will think of other things. Why is that? Because this is the result of one's past karma, therefore one will experience that karma, and one will have doubts. Even if one commits the five inexpiable sins, if one practices three times, all wishes will be perfectly fulfilled. Therefore, one should be without hesitation, without doubt, and without generating doubt. Then, the Bhagavat praised the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, the noble Avalokiteśvara, saying: "Well done!"
