于是获得初地、二地、三地、四地、五地，直至获得十地。无量众生皆发菩提心。然后大梵天从座上起身，整理衣衫，恭敬合掌，向菩萨摩诃萨观世音自在说道：‘大士，善哉！我于过去世中，在无量如来集会中听闻种种法和种种陀罗尼。但从未听闻过如此殊胜的无碍大悲心陀罗尼大明咒语。大士，请您为我广说此陀罗尼的体性。我们众多眷属都非常乐意听闻。’菩萨观世音自在对大梵天说：‘天王，您以善巧方便为利益一切众生而作此问。现在您仔细听好，我将为您略说。’菩萨观世音自在说道：‘那是大悲心，是平等心，是无为心，是无所执着心，是视为空性的心，是恭敬心，是神圣心，是无杂染心，是无上菩提心。凡是这样的心，都应知是陀罗尼的体性。您应当如是修证。’大梵天王说道：‘我们众多眷属今日才领悟此陀罗尼的体性，从今以后将全部受持，不敢忘记。’圣观世音自在说道：‘善男子或善女子，凡是念诵和受持此明咒者，都能生起广大的菩提心，并以誓愿真实救度一切众生脱离痛苦。’

Then one obtains the first bhumi, the second bhumi, the third bhumi, the fourth bhumi, and the fifth bhumi, and thus obtains up to the tenth bhumi. Countless sentient beings generate the mind of enlightenment. Then the Great Brahma rose from his seat, adjusted his robes, and respectfully joined his palms, saying to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Avalokiteśvara: 'Great being, well done! In the past, in countless assemblies of Tathagatas, I have heard various dharmas and various dharanis. But I have never heard such a magnificent mantra of the Great Compassionate Mind Dharani, which is unobstructed. Great being, please explain to me in detail the nature of this dharani. We, the many in attendance, are very eager to hear.' The Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara said to the Great Brahma: 'King of Gods, you have skillfully asked this question for the benefit of all sentient beings. Now listen carefully, and I will briefly explain it to you.' The Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara said: 'That is the Great Compassionate Mind, the Equal Mind, the Unconditioned Mind, the Non-Attachment Mind, the Mind that views emptiness, the Respectful Mind, the Sacred Mind, the Unmixed Mind, the Supreme Bodhi Mind. Whatever such minds are, know that they are the nature of the dharani. You should practice and realize it in this way.' The Great Brahma King said: 'We, the many in attendance, have only today understood the nature of this dharani, and from now on we will all uphold it and dare not forget it.' The Holy Avalokiteśvara said: 'Any son or daughter of good family who recites and upholds this mantra will generate a vast Bodhi Mind and truly vow to liberate all sentient beings from suffering.'

བདག་ཉིད་གསོ་སྦྱོང་དང་ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་ལ་གནས་ནས་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་ལ་མཉམ་པའི་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་དེ། རྟག་པར་རིག་སྔགས་འདི་རྒྱུན་ཆད་པ་མེད་པར་གདོན་པར་བྱའོ། །གནས་ཁང་གཙང་མའི་ནང་དུ་འདུག་སྟེ། ཡོངས་སུ་དག་པར་ཁྲུས་བྱས་ནས་གོས་གཙང་མ་བགོས་ཏེ། བ་དན་དཔྱངས་མར་མེ་སྦར་ཏེ། སྤོས་དང་། མེ་ཏོག་དང་། ཞལ་ཟས་ཀྱི་མཆོད་པ་བྱས་ནས་སེམས་རྩེ་གཅིག་ཏུ་གཏད་དེ། དམིགས་པ་ཐ་དད་པ་གཞན་ལ་མི་དམིགས་པར་ཆོས་བཞིན་དུ་འདོན་ཅིང་ཡོངས་སུ་འཛིན་པར་བྱེད་ན། དེའི་ཚེ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཉི་འོད་དང་། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཟླ་འོད་ལྷ་དང་། དྲང་སྲོང་ཚད་མེད་པ་སྙེད་དག་དེར་ལྷགས་ནས་དབང་བྱེད་ཅིང་མངོན་རྟགས་ཀྱང་སྟོན་པར་གྱུར་ལ། བདག་ཀྱང་དེའི་ཚེ་མིག་སྟོང་གིས་དེ་ལ་ལྟ་བར་བྱེད། ལག་པ་སྟོང་གིས་ནི་དེ་ལ་ཡོངས་སུ་སྲུང་ཞིང་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབ་པར་བྱེད་པས་འཇིག་རྟེན་པའི་གཙུག་ལག་ཇི་སྙེད་པ་དེ་དག་ཀྱང་ཡོངས་སུ་འཛིན་པར་འགྱུར། མུ་སྟེགས་ཅན་གྱི་ཆོས་ཀྱི་ཆོ་ག་དང་། སྨྲང་ཇི་སྙེད་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱང་རྟོགས་ཤིང་ཁོང་དུ་ཆུད་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །རིག་སྔགས་འདི་འདོན་ཅིང་ཡོངས་སུ་འཛིན་པར་བྱེད་པ་གང་ཡིན་པ་དེས་ནི་འཇིག་རྟེན་ན་གདོན་དང་ནད་རྣམ་པ་བརྒྱད་ཁྲི་བཞི་སྟོང་ཡོད་པ་དག་གསོས་ནས་འཚོ་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །འདྲེ་སྲིན་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་དབང་བྱེད་ཅིང་ལྷའི་བུའི་བདུད་རྣམས་ཀྱང་འདུལ་བར་བྱེད། མུ་སྟེགས་ཅན་རྣམས་ཀྱང་ཚར་གཅོད་པར་བྱེད་དོ། །གལ་ཏེ་རིའམ་དགོན་པ་ན་གནས་ཏེ་མདོ་སྡེ་ཁ་ཏོན་དུ་འདོན་པ་དང་བསམ་གཏན་སྒོམ་པ་དང་རིའི་ལྷ་དང་འདྲེ་སྲིན་གནོད་པ་བྱེད་པ་དག་ནན་གྱིས་ཀྱལ་ཀ་བྱས་ནས་སེམས་མཉམ་པར་གཞག་ཏུ་མི་རུང་བར་གྱུར་ན། རིག་སྔགས་འདི་ལན་ཅིག་བཟླས་པ་བྱས་ན་འདྲེ་སྲིན་དེ་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་འཆི་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །གལ་ཏེ་ཆོས་བཞིན་དུ་བཟླས་བརྗོད་བྱས་ཏེ། སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་ལ་སྙིང་བརྩེ་བའི་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་པར་གྱུར་ན་བདག་ཀྱང་དེའི་ཚེ་དགེ་བའི་ལྷ་དང་། ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཐམས་ཅད་དང་། ལག་ན་རྡོ་རྗེ་གསང་བ་པ་རྣམས་ལ་རྟག་པར་དེའི་རྗེས་སུ་འབྲང་ཞིང་ཡོངས་སུ་སྲུང་བ་གྱིས་ཤིག །དེའི་ཉེ་འཁོར་ན་གནས་ནས་མིག་གི་འབྲས་བུ་བཞིན་དུ་ཡོངས་སུ་སྲུངས་ཤིག །རང་གི་སྲོག་གི་དབང་པོ་བཞིན་དུ་ཡོངས་སུ་སྐྱོབས་ཤིག་ཅེས་བསྒོ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །གང་དག་ལ་བསྒོ་བར་བྱེད་པ་བསྟན་པའི་ཕྱིར་ཚིགས་སུ་བཅད་དེ་སྨྲས་པ། བདག་གིས་གསང་བའི་བདག་པོ་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་། །བདུད་རྩི་འཁྱིལ་པ་སྨེ་བརྩེགས་ལྕགས་ཀྱུ་ཅན

自身安住于布萨和戒律，对众生发起平等心，应恒常不断地念诵此明咒。居住于清净的房屋中，完全洁净地沐浴后穿上干净的衣服，悬挂幡幢，点燃灯火，以香、花、食物作供养，一心专注，不缘于其他各种对境，如法念诵并完全受持。届时，菩萨日光、菩萨月光、天神以及无数的仙人会降临于此，行使权能并显现征兆。我也将在那时以千眼观看他。 千手则完全守护并加持他，世间所有的论典都将被完全掌握。所有外道教的仪式和言论都将被领悟和理解。凡是念诵并完全受持此明咒者，就能医治世间存在的八万四千种魔障和疾病，并使其存活。能对一切鬼神行使权能，也能调伏天子魔。也能制伏外道。如果住在山中或寺院中，诵读经文、禅修，以及山神和作害的鬼神等，强烈地嘲弄，以致无法平等地安住心，念诵此明咒一遍，那些鬼神都会死亡。如果如法念诵，并对众生发起慈悲心，我也会在那时命令善神、所有的龙王以及金刚手秘密主，恒常跟随他并完全守护他！居住在他的周围，像保护眼珠一样完全守护他！像保护自己的生命力一样完全救护他！为了指示将要命令谁，故以偈颂说道：我（向）秘密主金刚持，甘露旋绕、眉间有痣、持铁钩（者）。

Having established oneself in the Uposatha and precepts, and generating an equal mind towards all sentient beings, one should always recite this mantra without interruption. Residing in a clean room, having bathed completely clean and wearing clean clothes, hanging banners, lighting lamps, making offerings of incense, flowers, and food, focusing the mind one-pointedly, without focusing on other various objects, one should recite and completely uphold it according to the Dharma. At that time, the Bodhisattva Sunlight, the Bodhisattva Moonlight, the gods, and countless sages will come there, exercise their power, and show signs. I will also look at him with a thousand eyes at that time. A thousand hands will completely protect and bless him, and all the worldly treatises will be completely mastered. All the rituals and statements of the heretical religions will be understood and comprehended. Whoever recites and completely upholds this mantra will heal and sustain the eighty-four thousand kinds of demonic obstacles and diseases that exist in the world. He will exercise power over all demons and spirits, and will also subdue the Maras of the sons of gods. He will also subdue the heretics. If one dwells in a mountain or monastery, reciting scriptures, meditating, and the mountain gods and harmful demons, etc., strongly mock, so that one cannot equally settle the mind, reciting this mantra once will cause all those demons to die. If one recites according to the Dharma and generates a mind of compassion towards sentient beings, I will also at that time command the virtuous gods, all the Naga kings, and Vajrapani secret lords to always follow him and completely protect him! Dwelling around him, completely protect him like protecting the apple of your eye! Completely protect him like protecting your own life force! In order to indicate who will be commanded, it is said in verse: I (to) the secret lord Vajradhara, swirling with nectar, with a mole on his brow, holding an iron hook.
