Wherever one goes, first sprinkle a handful of water or ashes on oneself, and then sprinkle it in the four directions according to the ritual, and thus the boundary will be accomplished. If a son or daughter of good family is tormented by evil spirits and many perverse demons, then take a branch of a Nepalese pear tree and a branch of a willow tree from the shady side, recite this vidya-mantra, and then strike the patient, and no matter what the disease, there is none that cannot be cured.
