If you wear an amulet around your neck, you will not be afraid. All things will also become purified. If sudden calamities occur in a home, cut Nepali apple tree twigs into two-finger lengths, making one thousand and eight pieces. Pour butter, yogurt, and honey into a container and place it nearby. Take a piece of twig, recite once, dip both ends in butter, and burn it. If all the twig pieces are burned in this way, all epidemic diseases will disappear. This ritual should be performed in front of the Buddha. Recite one hundred and eight times over white Gentiana scabra, and if worn on the right arm, one will be victorious in battle or debate. Cut camphor willow with leaves into two-finger lengths and perform a fire offering according to the above ritual. Perform a fire offering one thousand and eight times in three periods of the day. If done in this way for seven days, accomplishments will be attained, and the noble path will also arise. If you want to overcome a powerful spirit, recite forty-nine times over gentian wood, perform a fire offering with butter, yogurt, and honey, and do it in front of the Bodhisattva. Put one ounce of white ox gallstone into a blue container, recite one thousand and eight times in front of the Bodhisattva, apply it to the limbs, and put a tilaka on the forehead, all gods, nagas, spirits, and people will be pleased. If someone has committed a crime and is put in iron or wooden fetters, recite one hundred and eight times over pigeon dung, and also apply it to the hands. Touching the iron and wooden fetters will lead to liberation. If a husband and wife are as incompatible as fire and water, recite one thousand and eight times over a peacock's tail feather in front of the Bodhisattva, and wear it on the body, they will reconcile until the end of their lives. If animals damage crops, recite one thousand and eight times over clean ashes or clean sand, and scatter it everywhere, the animals will turn back. If animals eat fruit, recite over water and sprinkle it on the trees.

They do not eat fruit. At that time, the noble Avalokiteśvara, the great being, again said to the Blessed One: Venerable Blessed One, due to the cause of merit from my previous lives, the Blessed One prophesied to me, saying: 'You will generate great compassion for all sentient beings, and you will be able to cut off all bonds and fears. By that power, all sentient beings will be liberated from all sufferings and will attain peace and happiness.' In the future, in the final five hundred years, if any son or daughter of good family can hold this essential Dharma gate three times during the day and three times during the night, all their karmic obscurations will be purified, and the Dharma nature of all Dharmas will be accomplished. I will remember the kindness of the Buddha, and wherever there is a city, village, town, or forest where mantra holders reside, if the spirits residing there cause harm, I will always go there and protect them at all times, and I will never abandon them. At that time, the noble Avalokiteśvara, the great being, again said to the Blessed One: Venerable Blessed One, in all the future five hundred years, most sentient beings will become impure, with small roots of virtue, unable to constantly practice virtue, and even if they do, they will be harmed by gods and spirits. For the sake of benefiting, bringing happiness, and peace to all sentient beings, such as gods, humans, and asuras, I will now explain the ritual of this dharani by the power and miraculous abilities of the Buddha, the Blessed One. I have also made offerings to this dharani in many past kalpas. All the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, who have appeared in the past, will appear in the future, and are appearing in the present, have also relied on this dharani and attained the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Any son or daughter of good family who constantly holds and carries this dharani will then have an uninterrupted flow of words, and their senses will be sharp.
