. To be universally adorned are: banners of various kinds, arrows of various kinds, heavenly silk hanging down, and banners also hanging down. With threads of five-colored silk, it should be completely surrounded. The size of the lotus made of copper, with four fingers and petals blooming, should be beautifully shaped into four squares. In the squares of the essential mandala, eight lotuses should be well measured. Four made of gold should be placed, and similarly, four made of silver. Everywhere, there should be strings of coral, and strings of pearls as well. Everywhere, there should be gold scales and various jewels placed. In the spaces between the lines of the essential mandala, there should be four golden vessels and four silver vessels placed. In the four full silver vases, adornments of silver, gold, and copper flowers should be placed. In the four golden vases, adornments of pearls, coral, padmaraga (ruby), emerald, indranila (sapphire), silver, gold, and flowers should be placed. In the western direction, a high mandala should be set up, depicting the scene of Sukhavati, along with images of Amitabha, the noble Avalokiteśvara, and Mahāsthāmaprāpta. These cloth images should be placed facing the mandala. In the eastern direction, a square high mandala should be made, and on the liberation mandala, images of Shakyamuni Buddha, the noble Vajradhara, and the wrathful form of Amoghapasha should be drawn. These cloth images should be placed facing the mandala. In the southern direction, a high place resembling a mountain should be set up, and images of the Tathagata Lokeśvararāja, Manjushri, Sarvanivaranaviskambhin, and Amoghapasha should be drawn on cloth and placed facing the mandala. In the northern direction, images of the wrathful king, the Tathagata Vairochana, Maitreya, and Kshitigarbha should be drawn, and these cloth images should be placed facing the mandala. All the high platforms should be well decorated. They should be adorned with silk ribbons. They should be decorated with all kinds of ornaments, and full vases should be placed. A mandala of scented powder should be made, and the best of tastes, various kinds of food, should be offered. Alms bowls filled with various kinds of fruits should be placed. Incense mixed with sandalwood, agarwood, turushka, camphor, musk, and saffron should be burned and offered to the images. Then, the vidyadhara should bathe three times a day and change clothes three times. Three times a day, recitations and rituals should be performed. From the eighth day to the full fifteenth day, the Amoghapasha should be recited twenty-one times. The wrathful king should be recited twenty-one times. The iron hook of Amoghapasha should be recited twenty-one times, as well as the heart mantra of Amoghapasha and the transcendental transformation mantra twenty-one times, and the liberation mandala, which is worshiped by all the Bodhisattvas, should be recited one thousand and eight times, and
