Therefore, to perform the rites of the unfailing lasso is: With the eye of the great unfailing peaceful ritual, to generate a mind of loving-kindness and the essence of compassion towards all sentient beings. By reciting the unfailing king, act with the utmost purity of mind. In the moment of mere recitation, with the mudra of the unfailing lasso, summon all enlightenment, and in a moment become a Buddha. Furthermore, various needs, just as one thinks in the mind, in a moment accomplish the unsurpassed siddhi, and in a moment summon all. Gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kimnaras, and mahoragas, in order to see the vidyadhara, all gather to him in a moment. All the Buddhas of the ten directions, also see with his seeing. In order to pay homage to the vidyadhara, bodhisattvas will also gather. The protector, the noble Avalokiteshvara, bestows the supreme, and places his hand on the crown of the head. With the nature of complete purity, in a moment he shows the self-nature. Whoever has gone to Avici hell, sentient beings who commit the five heinous crimes, whoever slanders the noble ones, whoever abandons the sacred Dharma, seeing this mudra, holding or entering, by binding, in a moment all sins are destroyed, and in a moment one sees the guide. Merely by binding the mudra, all needs will be accomplished. This mudra, merely by seeing, reciting the secret mantra, and seeing the vidyadhara, one should regard the noble Avalokiteshvara as being seen directly. In lifetimes through the ages, the obscurations of karmic sins accumulated over hundreds and thousands of kalpas, merely by binding or seeing this mudra, will be dispelled like the winter sun, without a doubt.
