All of these foods, drinks, and various kinds of utensils, clothes and bedding, dwellings and houses, immeasurable palaces and gardens, rivers and ponds, springs and pools, lakes and oceans, and lotus ponds, etc., all kinds of comfortable utensils, abiding on the earth, arising from the earth, relying on the earth, these will be used. Bhikshu, Bhagavan, because of this reason, all these beings will repay what I have done for them. Do not seek evil, but respect, listen to, honor, revere, and offer to this King of the Noble Golden Light Sutra. Bhikshu, Bhagavan, when those beings, in order to go to the Dharma speaker, come from different castes and different families, and having arrived, listen to this King of the Noble Golden Light Sutra, and having heard it, also return to their respective castes, families, villages, and towns, and dwelling in their respective homes, they will say to each other: 'Today we have heard the profound Dharma. Today we have completely obtained an inconceivable accumulation of merit. By listening to the Dharma, we have pleased countless billions of nayutas of Tathagatas. Today, by listening to the Dharma, we have completely liberated ourselves from hell. We are completely liberated from the birth place of animals, and from the world of Yama, and from the realm of pretas. Today, by listening to the Dharma, in the future, we will completely obtain the opportunity to be born as gods and humans in countless hundreds of thousands of kalpas.' They will speak in this way. Will those beings who dwell in different families tell other beings even one example from this King of the Noble Golden Light Sutra? Even one chapter, or one story, from this King of the Noble Golden Light Sutra? Even one name of a Bodhisattva, or one name of a Tathagata? Even one four-line verse, or one word, to let other beings hear? Will they even proclaim the other names of this King of the Noble Golden Light Sutra to others? Bhikshu

世尊，无论在何处，那些形形色色的众生，在形形色色的地域中，是否会互相讲述或听闻这种种不同的经部论证？如果讲述传承故事，那么，尊者世尊，那些地域都会变得非常光彩照人，非常润泽。为了那些地域中的所有众生，各种各样的土地精华和一切用具都会茂盛地生长，蓬勃发展，极其繁荣。那些众生也都会安乐，拥有巨大的财富和享用，乐于布施，对三宝生起极大的信仰。如是祈请之后，世尊对土地女神坚牢母说道：土地女神，无论哪个众生，哪怕仅仅听闻《金光明经》中的一句话，他们从这人世间去世后，也会转生到三十三天等任何一个天界之中。土地女神，无论哪个众生，为了供养《金光明经》，如果好好地装饰那些地方，哪怕仅仅用一把伞，或一面旗帜，或一块彩布遮盖，那么，土地女神，在那些总是被装饰的地方，在那些随心所欲享用的七类天众之中，他们将住在用天界的七宝装饰的无量宫殿之中。当那些众生从这人世间去世，转生到那些七宝宫殿中时，土地女神，他们也会在每一座七宝宫殿中转生七次。他们也将体验到不可思议的天界安乐。如是宣说之后，土地女神坚牢母对世尊说道：尊者世尊，因此，土地女神坚牢母我将住在那些比丘法师坐在法座之下的那些地方。无论如何，为了（利益）创造了成百上千佛陀的善根的众

Bhagavan, wherever those various kinds of sentient beings are, in those various kinds of places, do they speak to one another or hear these various kinds of sutra arguments? If they tell transmitted stories, then, Venerable Bhagavan, all those places will become very radiant and very moist. For the sake of all sentient beings in those places, all kinds of earth essences and all implements will grow abundantly, flourish, and become extremely prosperous. All those sentient beings will also be happy, possess great wealth and enjoyment, be inclined to generosity, and generate great faith in the Three Jewels. After making this request, the Bhagavan said to the earth goddess Firm One: Earth goddess, whichever sentient beings hear even one word from this King of the Excellent Golden Light Sutra, they will, after passing away from this human world, be reborn in any of the heavens within the Thirty-Three Heavens. Earth goddess, whichever sentient beings, for the sake of making offerings to this King of the Excellent Golden Light Sutra, decorate those places well, even if they cover them with just one umbrella, or one banner, or one piece of colored cloth, then, earth goddess, in those places that are always decorated, among those seven classes of gods who enjoy as they wish, they will dwell in immeasurable palaces adorned with all the ornaments of the seven precious jewels of the gods. When those sentient beings pass away from this human world and are reborn in those seven precious palaces, earth goddess, they will also be reborn seven times in each of the seven precious palaces. They will also experience inconceivable heavenly bliss. After speaking thus, the earth goddess Firm One said to the Bhagavan: Venerable Bhagavan, therefore, I, the earth goddess Firm One, will dwell in those places beneath the Dharma seats where the Bhikshu Dharma speakers sit. For the sake of those sentient beings, may this Suvarnaprabhasa Sutra, the King of Sutras, remain in Jambudvipa for a long time and not quickly disappear, and may all sentient beings hear this Suvarnaprabhasa Sutra, the King of Sutras. In the future, may they experience immeasurable happiness of gods and humans for billions of kalpas, be with the Tathagatas, and in the future, may they attain the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. May all the sufferings of sentient beings in hells, animal realms, and the world of Yama be completely cut off. We will not spare our lives and will bow our heads to the feet of that Dharma-speaking Bhikshu. This is the tenth chapter, named "The Chapter of the Earth Goddess Drdha" from the Suvarnaprabhasa Sutra, the King of Sutras.
