Venerable World-Honored One, because of this, the entire Jambudvipa will be peaceful, prosperous, flourishing, and joyful. It will be filled with many human beings. All beings in Jambudvipa will be happy. They will experience various kinds of joy. Those beings will possess splendor, power, color, and form. For the sake of this King of the Golden Light Sutra, a monk, or a nun, or a male lay practitioner, or a female lay practitioner, those who uphold this King of Sutras will go to the place of the Dharma seat. Having arrived, with an extremely pure mind, for the benefit, welfare, and happiness of all beings, and in order to extensively, correctly, and thoroughly expound this King of the Golden Light Sutra, they will request those who preach the Dharma. Why is that? Venerable World-Honored One, if this King of the Golden Light Sutra is thoroughly expounded, then the earth goddess, the steadfast goddess, together with her retinue, will become very radiant and full of power. Our bodies will generate strength, diligence, and great power. Splendor, glory, and perfection will also enter our bodies. Venerable World-Honored One, I, the earth goddess, the steadfast goddess, am satisfied by this essence of the nectar of Dharma. If I obtain splendor, power, diligence, might, and great strength, then the essence of the earth of this Jambudvipa, which is seven thousand great thousands of worlds, will increase. The great earth will be filled with radiance. Venerable World-Honored One, all those beings who rely on the earth will also increase, prosper, and expand, and will also become great. After those beings who dwell on the earth become great, they will enjoy various enjoyments and uses, and will also experience happiness.
