Venerable One, if the gods abandon that place, various kinds of disturbances will occur in that place, and unbearable royal conflicts will arise. All sentient beings in that place will generate strife, fault-finding, and disputes. Exhaustion and decline will occur, and various kinds of planets and diseases will appear in the place. Meteors will fall from different directions. The planets and stars will also be in disharmony with each other. The appearing moon will also be like the sun. Lunar and solar eclipses will occur. The sun and moon in the sky will always be constantly afflicted by Rahu. Rainbow-like colors will appear in the sky from time to time. The earth will also shake. The springs on the earth will also make sounds. Strong winds will blow in the place. Heavy rain will fall. Famine wastelands will appear in the place. Enemy armies will destroy the place. That place will be ruined. Those sentient beings will also have increased afflictions. That place will become dilapidated and unpleasant. Monk, Blessed One, if we, the four great kings, together with our armies and attendants, and hundreds of thousands of yakshas, as well as the gods and nagas residing in the place, abandon that place, hundreds and thousands of various harms like this will occur in that place. Monk, Blessed One, if someone becomes a human king, then he should perform a great and comprehensive protection for himself. He should enjoy various royal pleasures for a long time. He should become a king with a mind that bestows all happiness. He should make all sentient beings in the place happy. He should defeat all enemy armies. He should protect all places for a long time. He should become a king of Dharma. He should also completely liberate his own place from all fears, harms, plagues, and disturbances. Monk, Blessed One, that human king should not abandon the supreme Golden Light Sutra.

请听闻此等。比丘，或比丘尼，或近事男，或近事女，执持《经部王》者，亦应敬重，应为上师，应供养，应作供奉。我等四大天王及其眷属，亦以此听闻佛法的善根，及此佛法甘露之精华而得满足。我等之天身之光辉亦当增长。何以故？尊者世尊，人王当不求邪魔而听闻此《金光明经部王》。尊者世尊，梵天所说之世间及出世间之论典种种，天帝释所说之论典种种，具五神通之仙人种种为利有情故，所说之世间及出世间之论典种种，然此《金光明经部王》乃最胜最殊胜。尊者世尊，梵天百千俱胝，帝释百千俱胝，具五神通之仙人百千俱胝，一切彼等所不及，如来为利有情故，广为宣说。如何能使赡部洲一切人王行国王之事，如何能使一切有情安乐，如何能使自己之国土皆得守护，皆得救护， 如何能使一切国土无有损害及敌害，如何能使他方之军队战败而退，如何能使彼等国土无有瘟疫及战乱，如何能使一切国土不为非法所扰，如何能使人民富足，如何能使人王于各自之国土燃起并照亮大法之明灯。

Please listen to these. Bhikshus, or Bhikshunis, or Upasakas, or Upasikas, those who hold the 'King of Sutras,' should also be respected, should be regarded as teachers, should be served, and should be offered to. May we, the four great kings and our retinues, be satisfied with this accumulation of virtuous roots from listening to the Dharma, and with this essence of the nectar of the Dharma. May the great radiance of our divine bodies also increase. Why is that? Venerable Bhagavan, the king of men should listen to this 'Golden Light King of Sutras' without seeking evil spirits. Venerable Bhagavan, the various worldly and transcendental treatises taught by Brahma, the various treatises taught by Indra, and the various worldly and transcendental treatises taught by the various five-knowing sages for the benefit of sentient beings, but this 'Golden Light King of Sutras' is the most excellent and most distinguished. Venerable Bhagavan, hundreds of thousands of kotis of Brahmas, hundreds of thousands of kotis of Indras, and hundreds of thousands of kotis of five-knowing sages, all of them are surpassed by the Tathagata, who extensively and correctly explained it for the benefit of sentient beings. How can the kings of all the people living in Jambudvipa perform the affairs of kings, how can all sentient beings be happy, how can their own countries be protected in every way, and how can they be completely defended? How can all countries be free from harm and enemies, how can the armies of others be defeated and retreat, how can those countries be free from epidemics and wars, how can all countries be free from disturbance by injustice, how can the people be prosperous, and how can the kings of men kindle and illuminate the great lamp of Dharma in their respective countries?

And, how all the abodes of the gods are filled with gods and sons of gods, and, how we four great kings with armies and retinues, and, countless hundreds of thousands of myriads of yakshas, and, all the assemblies of gods dwelling in Jambudvipa are satisfied and served, and, how these divine bodies of ours become greatly radiant, and, how diligence, strength, and great power arise in our bodies, and, how splendor, glory, and perfection fully enter our bodies, and, how all of Jambudvipa becomes prosperous, delightful, and filled with people and beings, and, how all sentient beings dwelling in all of Jambudvipa become happy, and experience various joys, and, how all sentient beings experience vast and vast happiness of gods and humans for countless hundreds of thousands of myriads of kalpas, and, dwell together with the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and, in the future, attain the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, if all these are so, then the Bhagavat, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha, with the blessing of the power of great compassion surpassing hundreds of thousands of myriads of Brahma kings, and surpassing the divine wisdom of hundreds of thousands of myriads of Indra, the unsurpassed wisdom of the Tathagata and the blessing surpassing all the various hundreds of thousands of myriads of five-knowing sages, for the sake of the benefit of all sentient beings, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha, widely and correctly expounds this King of the Sublime Golden Light Sutra in this Jambudvipa. All the thoughts of human kings, the treatises of kings, and the actions of kings that exist in all of Jambudvipa, and all that which makes all these sentient beings happy, the Bhagavat, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha
