Why is that? Great Kings, it is because that human king made offerings to this King of the Golden Light Sutra, the King of Sutras. As soon as the various incenses are lit, from the one holding the incense burner in his hand, vines of various incense and fumigation will arise. In that instant, moment, and short time, in all of this three-thousand-great-thousand world system, wherever there are hundreds of thousands of billions of moons, hundreds of thousands of billions of suns, hundreds of thousands of billions of great oceans, hundreds of thousands of billions of Mount Sumeru, the king of mountains, hundreds of thousands of billions of surrounding mountains, hundreds of thousands of billions of great surrounding mountains, hundreds of thousands of billions of four great continents, hundreds of thousands of billions of gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings, from hundreds of thousands of billions of gods of the Thirty-Three up to the gods who have nearly reached neither perception nor non-perception, in all those three-thousand-great-thousand world systems, in all the hundreds of thousands of billions of retinues of the Thirty-Three gods, the vines of various incense and fumigation will abide in the canopies in the space above the respective houses of the gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, and the assemblies of great belly-crawlers. 就像那些蔓藤安住在伞盖中一样，为了供养这部《金光明最胜王经》，当人王用各种香熏燃时，凭借这部《金光明最胜王经》的威德力，各种香和熏香的蔓藤便会出现。在刹那、瞬间、须臾之间，它们会遍布十方无量世界的恒河沙数佛土中，无数恒河沙数佛土中的无数如来，都会安住在上方虚空中香和熏香的蔓藤伞盖中。那些无数如来也会嗅到广大而又广大的各种香和熏香。会出现如同黄金颜色的景象，那个景象也会照亮无数恒河沙数的佛土。大王啊，当那些神变出现后，无数恒河沙数的如来会忆念那位说法者。“善哉！善哉！善男子，你想要广为宣说这部《金光明最胜王经》如此甚深显现、具有不可思议功德的法门，善哉！善哉！”会被如此赞许。仅仅是听闻这部《金光明最胜王经》的众生，也不会具有微薄的善根，更何况是那些受持、读诵、解说、通达，并为眷属广为宣说的人呢？这是为什么呢？善男子，仅仅是听闻这部《金光明最胜王经》，无数菩萨就会于无上正等菩提不退转。

Just as those vines reside in the umbrellas, in order to make offerings to this "Golden Light Supreme King Sutra," as soon as the human king burns various incenses, by the power of the glory of this "Golden Light Supreme King Sutra," vines of various incenses and fumigations will appear. In an instant, a moment, a short while, they will pervade the countless worlds of the ten directions, in the Buddha-fields as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, countless Tathagatas in countless hundreds of thousands of billions of Buddha-fields as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River will reside in the umbrellas of vines of various incenses and fumigations in the space above. Those countless Buddhas will also smell the vast and extensive varieties of incense and fumigation. An appearance like the color of gold will arise, and that appearance will illuminate countless hundreds of thousands of billions of Buddha-fields as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River. Great King, as soon as those miracles appear, countless Tathagatas as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River will remember that Dharma speaker. "Excellent! Excellent! Noble man, you wish to extensively and correctly explain this profound-appearing Dharma of the 'Golden Light Supreme King Sutra' which possesses inconceivable qualities, excellent! Excellent!" Such praise will be bestowed. If even those sentient beings who merely hear this "Golden Light Supreme King Sutra" will not possess meager roots of virtue, what need is there to mention those who uphold, recite, explain, read, fully understand, and extensively and correctly reveal it to their retinue? Why is that? Noble man, merely upon hearing this "Golden Light Supreme King Sutra," countless hundreds of thousands of billions of Bodhisattvas will become irreversible from unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment.
