Adorned with various jewels, in a place where flowers are spread on the ground, we shall go there to listen to the Dharma. Venerable Bhagavan, we four great kings, together with our retinues, and countless yakshas, all united, will assist the human king to become a virtuous friend, to accomplish virtuous deeds. For that supreme Dharma donation, as soon as we are satisfied with this essence of Dharma nectar, we shall always protect that human king, completely saving, completely embracing, completely nurturing, and making him peaceful and happy. We shall also always protect that royal palace, that city, and that country, completely saving, completely embracing, completely nurturing, and making them peaceful and happy. We shall also avoid punishments, and make that country completely free from all fears, harms, plagues, and wars. Venerable Bhagavan, if someone becomes a human king, and in that human king's country this King of Sutras, the Noble Golden Light Sutra, appears, Venerable Bhagavan, if that human king does not respect, does not honor, does not serve, does not worship those monks, nuns, laymen, or laywomen who uphold this King of Sutras, the Noble Golden Light Sutra, then we four great kings and countless yakshas will not be satisfied by hearing this Dharma and this essence of Dharma nectar, we will not serve, and the splendor of these divine bodies will not increase, we will not generate diligence, power, and strength, and the radiance, glory, and perfection of our bodies will not increase. Venerable Bhagavan, we four great kings, together with our retinues, and countless yakshas, will abandon that country. Venerable Bhagavan, if we abandon that country, then all the hosts of gods residing in that country will also abandon that country. Venerable
