It is called Dasapa, and the true limit is without elaboration. The only Tathagata manifests the true limit, and the pacification of elaboration is called Nirvana. Non-birth is true, and birth is false. Therefore, individual ordinary people are immersed in the mire of samsara. The body of the Tathagata is true and not untrue, therefore it is called Nirvana. Non-true Dharma arises from conditions, and true Dharma is not produced by conditions. The Dharmakaya of the Tathagata is also true and the very truth, therefore it is called Nirvana. Furthermore, son of the lineage, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, with these ten dharmas, understands the truth and the true nature of the Tathagatas, the Arhats, the perfectly complete Buddhas, and thus knows the Great Nirvana. What are the ten? That is, the Tathagata, regarding generosity and the fruit of generosity, knows that there is no self and no belonging to self, and thus completely abandons the inverted discriminations regarding generosity and the fruit of generosity, which is called Nirvana. The Tathagata, regarding morality and the fruit of morality, knows that there is no self and no belonging to self, and thus completely abandons the inverted discriminations regarding morality and the fruit of morality, which is called Nirvana. The Tathagata, regarding patience and the fruit of patience, knows that there is no self and no belonging to self, and thus completely abandons the inverted discriminations regarding patience and the fruit of patience, which is called Nirvana. The Tathagata, regarding diligence and the fruit of diligence, knows that there is no self and no belonging to self, and thus completely abandons the inverted discriminations regarding diligence and the fruit of diligence, which is called Nirvana.

Because of fully knowing that a son has no self or what belongs to self, and completely abandoning the inverted conceptualizations about that wisdom and its results, this is called nirvana. The Tathagatas fully know sentient beings and non-sentient beings, and because all phenomena have no nature, and completely abandoning inverted conceptualizations, this is called nirvana. Whoever has the nature of craving is attached to feelings. Because of being attached to feelings, one will experience all kinds of suffering. The Tathagatas have completely cut off the attachment to self and what belongs to self, and have no seeking, so this is called nirvana. All conditioned phenomena can be counted and measured, but unconditioned phenomena are separate from all counting and measuring. The Buddha abandoned conditioned phenomena and realized unconditioned phenomena, and because there is no counting and measuring, therefore, this is called nirvana. The Tathagatas know that the nature of sentient beings and phenomena are all empty, and there is nothing other than emptiness, and the nature of emptiness itself is the true Dharmakaya, therefore, this is called nirvana. Son of good family, these ten dharmas are called nirvana. Furthermore, son of good family, it is not only wonderful that the Tathagata does not enter nirvana, but there are also ten other wonderful dharmas, which are the conduct of the Tathagatas. What are these ten? For example, samsara is full of faults, and nirvana is peaceful and solitary, but the Tathagatas equally know samsara and nirvana, so they neither abide in samsara nor dwell in nirvana, and they are not weary of benefiting sentient beings, this is the conduct of the Tathagatas. Although the Tathagatas see ordinary people acting perversely and being afflicted by various afflictions, they do not think, "These people should be liberated," but by the power of past compassion and roots of virtue, they do not discriminate about the faculties, nature, and what thoughts these sentient beings like.

Thus, by the principle of spontaneous accomplishment, benefiting without end, this is the conduct of the Tathagatas. The Tathagatas extensively teach the twelve branches of scripture to sentient beings, but do not think, "I will benefit them." However, through the power of past compassion and virtuous roots, extensively teaching the Dharma to these sentient beings without end, this is the conduct of the Tathagatas. The Tathagatas go to villages, cities, and settlements, but do not think, "I will beg for alms in the homes of kings, ministers, Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, Shudras, etc." However, through the power of habituation to the conduct of body, speech, and mind in the past, spontaneously accomplishing the act of begging for alms and doing beneficial deeds, this is the conduct of the Tathagatas. The body of the Tathagata has no fatigue or exhaustion. Although it appears that they beg for alms without excrement, urine, or physical weakness, they have no request for it, nor do they have any conceptualization of it. However, for the sake of benefiting sentient beings, they also appear to beg for alms. This is the conduct of the Tathagatas, spontaneously accomplished. Thus, the Tathagatas do not think, "I will teach the Dharma to these sentient beings according to their superior, middling, and inferior faculties." However, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, without conceptualization, know perfectly well what the faculties and dispositions of each individual are, and teach them the Dharma. This is the conduct of the Tathagatas. The Tathagatas do not think, "These sentient beings are disrespectful and always speak harshly and abusively, I will not speak with them. These sentient beings are always respectful to me, praising and speaking pleasantly, I will speak with them." The Tathagatas do not think in this way, but contemplate with equal love and compassion, without duality. This is the conduct of the Tathagatas. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, have no afflictions such as attachment, hatred, pride, desire, or miserliness, but the Tathagatas
