The teacher of the earth, the Buddha Bhagavan named Essence Appearing as a Hundred Rays of Gold, will appear in the world, and all of these were prophesied by the Bhagavan to attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Then, the goddess of lineage, having perfectly gathered enlightenment, requested the Bhagavan, saying: Venerable Bhagavan, those sons of the gods, such as the King of Radiance of Blazing Excellence, have not yet become great bodhisattva deeds to that extent. It has not even been heard that they practiced the six perfections in the past. It has not even been heard that they completely gave away their hands, feet, eyes, the most excellent head of their limbs, sons, wives, and beloved daughters in the past. It has not even been heard that they completely gave away wealth, grain, conch shells, gold, jewels, pearls, lapis lazuli, conch shells, coral, jade, silver, and coral and other precious things in the past. It has not even been heard that they completely gave away food, drink, vehicles, clothes, bedding, cushions, houses, palaces, gardens, ponds, and lotuses in the past. It has not even been heard that they completely gave away elephants, cows, steeds, male servants, and various female servants in the past. For example, countless Bodhisattvas, before receiving the prophecy of the name of the Tathagata from the Buddhas Bhagavan, in the past countless eons, they offered countless different kinds of offerings and all necessities to countless Tathagatas. They completely gave away all things to be given away. They also completely gave away things to be given away, such as hands, feet, eyes, the most excellent head of their limbs, sons, wives, and beloved daughters. They completely gave away wealth, grain, conch shells, gold, jewels, pearls, lapis lazuli, conch shells, coral, jade, silver, and coral.

也都全部施舍。食物和、饮料和、骑乘工具和、衣服和、卧具和、坐垫和、房屋和、无量宫和、园林和、嬉戏林和、水池和、藤架和、大象和、牛和、壮年公马和、男仆和、女仆，凡是应当全部施舍的也都全部施舍，逐渐使六波罗蜜多全部圆满。逐渐使这六波罗蜜多圆满之后，也能获得成千上万的安乐。那么，尊者世尊，是怎样的因，怎样的缘，怎样的善根修习，才使得光芒四射的殊胜光辉之王等，这些成千上万的天子为了听闻佛法而前来。世尊您是怎样授记这些天子，在未来之时，无数的亿万兆不可思议劫之后，在名为娑罗树王高显幢幡的世间界中，以相同的种姓和相同的名字，逐渐证得无上正等正觉，号为极喜面莲香（Utpalai gandha samucchaya，乌 উৎপলগন্ধসমুচ্চয，utpala-gandha-samucchaya，青莲香积），将有千佛出世，具足明行足，善逝，世间解，调御丈夫，无上士，天人师，佛世尊呢？现在就请您授记无上正等正觉吧。如是禀告之后，世尊对善家女菩提正定说道：善家女，光芒四射的殊胜光辉之王等成千上万的天子，他们做了什么，积聚了什么，为了听闻佛法，现在从三十三天而来，他们有修习的善根，有那个因，有那个助缘。善家女，这三位圣士听闻了菩提授记之后，听闻之后立刻从这殊胜的金光明经王中，获得极大的喜悦和欢喜。

They also gave away everything completely. Food and, drink and, riding animals and, clothes and, bedding and, cushions and, houses and, immeasurable palaces and, gardens and, pleasure groves and, ponds and, arbors and, elephants and, cows and, strong male horses and, male servants and, female servants, whatever should be given away completely, they gave away completely, gradually perfecting all six perfections. Having gradually perfected these six perfections, they will also attain hundreds of thousands of joys. Then, venerable World Honored One, what kind of cause, what kind of condition, what kind of virtuous root cultivation, makes the King of Radiance of Blazing Distinction and so on, these tens of thousands of sons of gods come to listen to the Dharma from the World Honored One? How will the World Honored One prophesy that in the future, after countless billions of trillions of incalculable kalpas, in the world realm called Sala Tree King High Manifest Banner, with the same lineage and the same name, they will gradually attain the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, named Utpalai gandha samucchaya (青莲香积), a thousand Buddhas will appear in the world, endowed with knowledge and conduct, Sugata, World Knower, Tamer of Men, Unsurpassed, Teacher of Gods and Humans, Buddha World Honored One? Now, please prophesy the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. After such a request, the World Honored One said to the noble goddess Bodhi Samadhi: Noble goddess, what have these tens of thousands of sons of gods, such as the King of Radiance of Blazing Distinction, done and accumulated, that they have come here from the Thirty-Three Heavens to listen to the Dharma? They have cultivated virtuous roots, they have that cause, they have that condition. Noble goddess, after these three noble beings heard the prophecy of enlightenment, immediately after hearing it, from this supreme Golden Light Sutra King, they obtained great joy and delight.
