Adorned well with thousands of ribbons. The king scattered precious sandalwood on that throne. Various things were also visibly scattered. Gods, nagas, asuras, kinnaras. Yaksha masters and yaksha pot-bellied kings. A rain of heavenly mandara flowers. Visibly descended upon that throne. Gods desiring the Dharma, billions and trillions. Inconceivable beings who had gathered. When jewels and so forth appeared. Flowers were visibly scattered on the ground. The Dharma speaker, Jewel and so forth, himself.

I have completely abandoned. Whoever made the king attain happiness, at that time this sutra was well proclaimed. That precious and other Dharma-speaking monk, became that Tathagata Akshobhya. When I heard this sutra at that time, and rejoiced in even one word, I, through that virtuous action, listening to the Dharma and rejoicing, obtained a golden body and a hundred marks of merit, with a pleasing appearance, beautiful in the eyes, making millions of gods rejoice, beings who see it rejoice, and constantly obtain this body. In hundreds of millions of kalpas, I became ninety-nine Chakravartin kings. In hundreds of thousands of kalpas, I experienced the kingship of the desire realm. In countless kalpas, I became Indra, and also like Brahma, self-existent. Whatever measure is never obtainable, the ten powers are immeasurable, I have pleased them. I heard this sutra and rejoiced, the accumulation of merit is immeasurably vast. As I thought, I have attained enlightenment. I have also attained the supreme Dharmakaya. From the King of the Golden Light Sutra, the chapter called "Well Accomplished," is the twenty-first chapter. O glorious goddess! Any son or daughter of good family who has faith, if they wish to make vast, immense, and inconceivable offerings with all necessities to the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who have passed, will come, and are present, and wish to fully understand the profound conduct of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who have passed, will come, and are present, then in a temple or monastery, or any place where this King of the Golden Light Sutra is extensively and correctly taught, with an undistracted mind, they should listen attentively to this King of the Golden Light Sutra. Then, in order to extensively explain this meaning to the retinue, the Bhagavan spoke these verses at that time: Whoever wishes to make immeasurable offerings to all the Buddhas, and wishes to fully understand the conduct of all the Buddhas, profound and supreme.

If one desires to know, in a temple or dwelling, wherever this excellent, golden light sutra is taught, one should go to that place. This sutra is inconceivable, its merits are like an endless ocean, it liberates all sentient beings from the many oceans of suffering. One sees the beginning of the sutra, as well as the middle and the end. The king of sutras is extremely profound, there is no analogy for it. The Ganges and all the lands, the ocean and the realm of space, whatever dust is in them, cannot be used as an example. By entering the realm of Dharma, at that time one should enter. Whatever is profound and extremely stable, the stupa of the nature of Dharma, in the center of that stupa, one sees the Victorious Shakyamuni. With a pleasing voice, one should well explain this sutra. In countless inconceivable, hundreds of thousands of kalpas, gods and humans will experience happiness. Whoever listens to this sutra, thinking, "Thus I will accumulate immeasurable merit," at that time, that person knows thus. Surrounded by a pit of fire, crossing a hundred yojanas, enduring intense feelings, whoever is able to listen to this sutra, in a temple or dwelling, immediately upon entering, all sins are eliminated. All signs of bad dreams, and harm from planets and stars, even unbearable curses and demons, immediately upon entering, all turn to another direction. Whatever dream is shown by the Naga kings, one should also arrange there, a throne like a lotus. Having sat on that throne, one should well explain this sutra, read the written words, and thus also fully understand. After descending from that throne, even if one has gone to another place, the miracles that are on that throne will appear. In the form of a Dharma speaker, it will sometimes appear there, sometimes it will appear as the form of the Buddha, sometimes it will also appear as the form of a Bodhisattva, sometimes it will appear as Samantabhadra, likewise it will appear as Manjushri, sometimes it will also appear as Maitreya, light will appear on that throne.
