Power, color, and senses will all increase. Having become fully endowed with splendor, power, color, and form, they will be able to accomplish hundreds of thousands of different needs on earth. They will be diligent, they will strive, and they will perform deeds of power. Venerable Bhagavan, because of this cause, the entire Jambudvipa will become peaceful, with good harvests, prosperity, and joy. It will be filled with people and many beings. All those beings of Jambudvipa will be happy and will experience various kinds of joy. Those beings will possess splendor, power, color, and form. For the sake of this King of the Sublime Golden Light Sutra, monks, nuns, laymen, or laywomen, those who uphold the sutra, will go to the place of the Dharma throne. Having gone there, with a very pure mind, for the benefit, welfare, and happiness of all beings, and for the sake of extensively, correctly, and thoroughly expounding this King of the Sublime Golden Light Sutra, they will request those who speak the Dharma. Why is that? Venerable Bhagavan, because when this King of the Sublime Golden Light Sutra is thoroughly expounded, the earth goddess, Sthavara, together with her retinue, will become very radiant and very powerful. Strength, diligence, and great power will arise in our bodies. Splendor, glory, and perfection will also enter our bodies. Venerable Bhagavan, may I, the earth goddess, Sthavara, be satisfied by this essence of Dharma nectar. If I obtain splendor, power, diligence, ability, and great strength, then this great earth, the Jambudvipa of seven thousand yojanas, will increase with the great essence of the earth. The great earth will become very radiant. Venerable Bhagavan, all these beings who depend on the earth will also increase, prosper, and become vast, and will also become very vast. After those beings who dwell on the earth become great.

They will enjoy possessions and various kinds of complete enjoyment, and they will also experience happiness. All of those will enjoy various kinds of food, drink, and arrangements, as well as clothing, bedding, cushions, dwellings, houses, immeasurable palaces, gardens, rivers, ponds, springs, small lakes, lakes, lotus ponds, and various kinds of comfortable equipment like these that exist on the earth, originate from the earth, and rely on the earth. O Bhikshu, Blessed One, by that cause, I will repay the kindness done to me by all those sentient beings. Without being negligent, this excellent Dharma teaching, the King of Sutras, the Golden Light Sutra, should be revered, listened to, respected, honored, and offered to. O Bhikshu, Blessed One, when those sentient beings, for the purpose of going to the place of the Dharma speaker, come from various different lineages and families, and having arrived, listen to this King of Sutras, the Golden Light Sutra, and having heard it, return to their respective lineages, families, villages, and towns, and those who dwell in their respective homes will say to each other, "Today we have heard the profound Dharma. Today we have fully obtained an inconceivable accumulation of merit. By our hearing of the Dharma, we have pleased countless Tathagatas. Today, by our hearing of the Dharma, we are completely liberated from the hell realms, completely liberated from the animal realm, the world of Yama, and the realm of the pretas. Today, by our hearing of the Dharma, in the future, in countless lifetimes, we will fully obtain the births of gods and humans." They will say such things. Those sentient beings who dwell in different families will say to other sentient beings, "Even if it is just one example spoken from this King of Sutras, the Golden Light Sutra, even if it is just one chapter or one story from this King of Sutras, the Golden Light Sutra, even if it is just the name of a Bodhisattva, or the name of a Tathagata, even if it is just one four-line verse, or one word, let other sentient beings hear it.

作吗？甚至对《金光明经》这部经王的其它名称也极力宣说吗？尊者世尊，无论在何处，那些形形色色的有情，在各不相同的方隅，像这样各种各样的经部论断，互相讲述吗？听闻吗？讲述故事的话，尊者世尊，那些地方全部变得极其光彩夺目，极其润泽。在那些地方，为了所有那些有情，各种各样的土地精华和所有资具都将繁荣生长，将会增长，将会极其繁荣，所有那些有情也将变得安乐，拥有巨大的财富和巨大的享受，将会乐于布施，将会对三宝生起极大的信心。如是禀告之后，世尊对土地女神坚牢母如是说道：土地女神，任何有情，如果从这部《金光明经》中，哪怕听闻一句，那些有情从这人世间去世之后，将会转生到三十三天众之中，转生到任何一个天众之中。土地女神，任何有情，为了供养这部《金光明经》，如果把那些处所好好地装饰，哪怕用一把伞，或者一面旗帜，或者一块幡幢覆盖，土地女神，常常装饰的那些处所，在那些享用欲乐的天众七处，将会安住在天界的七宝宫殿，以一切庄严好好装饰的地方。当那些有情从这人世间去世，转生到那些七宝宫殿的时候，土地女神，在每一座七宝宫殿中，也会转生七次。也将体验不可思议的天界安乐。如是说道之后，土地女神坚牢母对世尊如是禀告道：尊者世尊，因此，当土地女神坚牢母我前往比丘说法者所处的法座时，法

Shall I do it? Or even fully proclaim the other names of this King of the Sublime Golden Light Sutra? Venerable Lord, wherever those various sentient beings, in various directions, speak to each other about such various sutra arguments as these? Do they hear it? If the story is told, Venerable Lord, all those places will become extremely glorious and extremely smooth. In those places, for the sake of all those sentient beings, all kinds of earth essence and all implements will grow prosperously, will increase, will become extremely prosperous, and all those sentient beings will also become happy, possessing great wealth and great enjoyment, will be fond of giving, and will have great faith in the Three Jewels. After speaking thus, the Lord spoke thus to the earth goddess Firm One: Earth goddess, any sentient being, if they hear even one word from this King of the Sublime Golden Light Sutra, those beings, after dying from this human world, will be reborn in the Thirty-three Heavens, reborn in any of the heavens. Earth goddess, any sentient being, for the sake of offering to this King of the Sublime Golden Light Sutra, if they decorate those places well, even if they cover them with an umbrella, or a banner, or a piece of cloth, earth goddess, those places that are always decorated, in those seven abodes of the gods who enjoy desire, will dwell in the heavenly seven-jeweled palaces, well decorated with all ornaments. When those sentient beings die from this human world and are reborn in those seven-jeweled palaces, earth goddess, in each of the seven-jeweled palaces, they will also be reborn seven times. They will also experience inconceivable heavenly bliss.
