This king of the Golden Light Sutra, in the present and future times, whether in towns, cities, villages, regions, near monasteries, in mountain medicinal lands, or around any palace, wherever these towns, cities, villages, regions, near monasteries, mountain medicinal lands, or palace surroundings are, I, the Bhikshu Bhagavan, the earth goddess Sthira, will go to those places. Bhikshu Bhagavan, wherever this king of the Golden Light Sutra is widely and correctly expounded, and in whatever places the Dharma seat of that Dharma-speaking Bhikshu is set up, and wherever the Dharma speaker ascends the seat and widely and correctly teaches this king of the Golden Light Sutra, I, the Bhikshu Bhagavan, the earth goddess Sthira, will go to those places. I will conceal myself under the Dharma seat, and with my most sacred limbs, support that Dharma-speaking Bhikshu from the soles of his feet. I will also listen to the Dharma, and satisfy myself with the essence of the nectar of the Dharma. I will properly serve and properly offer. From this accumulation of earth of sixty-eight thousand yojanas, down to the vajra foundation of the earth, I will cause the essence of the earth to increase. I will properly serve and completely do it. Upwards to this mandala of the earth that reaches the edge of the ocean, I will moisten it with the oil of the essence of the earth. I will make this great earth extremely glorious. Then, in this Jambudvipa, various grasses, trees, medicines, and forests will grow gloriously and abundantly. All gardens, forests, trees, leaves, flowers, fruits, and all kinds of crops will also become extremely glorious, full of fragrance, full of oil, delicious in taste, extremely beautiful in appearance, and become huge.
