May I also attain it. May I be skilled in the realm of knowledge, diligent on the path to enlightenment, and greatly benefit all beings. May all wishes be quickly fulfilled. With my true words, with the words I speak that are not false, may the supreme goddess Saraswati accomplish this purpose of mine. I request the goddess to come here, make my words unimpeded. Quickly enter my body and speech, and quickly perfect my mind and confidence. May the power of my tongue possess the confidence of the Sugatas. May the power of the splendor of speech subdue all sentient beings. Whatever words I speak, may all those meanings be accomplished. Generate respect for words, and do not waste all actions. Whenever I desire confidence, if that purpose is not accomplished, then the true words of you, goddess, will all become false. Having committed the five inexpiable sins, they will be subdued by the command of the Buddha. Also, those Arhats, and the words of gratitude, Shariputra and Maudgalyayana, the chief of the Lord's retinue, and the true words of those and others, may they all be accomplished for me. The Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Shravaka retinue, I invite them here today, in order to fulfill my wishes, may they all quickly come. I pray for true words, may everything be without deception. From the peak of existence downwards, and all pure places, Brahma, Great Brahma, the leader, and all Brahma's wheel surrounds, the middle of the three thousand worlds, the lord of the Sahā world, and he and his retinues, all of them I invite here today, with compassion, think of me, and with all love, hold me. The gods who control others' emanations, and also the gods of delight in emanation, the place where Maitreya manifestly attains enlightenment, the gods of the Tushita heaven, and the gods of the Non-contention heaven, the gods of the Thirty-three, the gods of the Four Great Kings, and all other divine retinues, the gods of earth, water, fire, and wind, and those who dwell on Mount Sumeru, the gods of the seven water mountains, all of them with their retinues, the five-locked wealth-increasing deity, and the sun, moon, and stars.

Stars and all the gods, the place that makes the world happy, all those gods. Not fond of sinful deeds, a mother who respects the Buddha, loving young children, gods, nagas, and yakshas. Gandharvas and asuras, also humans and non-humans, big-bellied ones, etc. All of you, by the power of the Bhagavan, I invite you here today. With the intention of compassion and love, may you give rise to unobstructed fearlessness in me. All the gods and humans, those who know the minds of others, bless me with the power of all, and grant me the supreme fearlessness. As far as the sky reaches, and the realm of Dharma is boundless, may all those sentient beings grant me the supreme fearlessness. Then, the Brahmin Kaundinya prayed to the goddess Saraswati in this way, and the goddess said to that great being, "Good! Any son of a lineage, or any daughter of a lineage, who praises with verses, holds and upholds those secret mantra words, takes refuge in the Three Jewels, follows with heartfelt wishes, and accomplishes whatever they desire according to the ritual, will not be in vain. Furthermore, if one upholds, recites, reads, and chants this extremely subtle and profound 'Golden Light Sutra, King of Sovereign Sutras,' all thoughts will be quickly accomplished, except for those done with a distracted mind." Having said this, the Brahmin Kaundinya was overjoyed and felt delighted, and joined his palms in reverence. Then, the Bhagavan praised the goddess Saraswati, saying, "Good! Goddess, you should protect and propagate this sacred Dharma, and by teaching this Dharma to all sentient beings who uphold this sutra, happiness, merit, and immeasurable fearlessness will increase. Those who generate the mind of enlightenment will also quickly attain the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Good! Good!" 此后，大天女吉祥向薄伽梵如此禀告道：尊者薄伽梵，大天女吉祥我无论如何也要使说法比丘，一切资具皆得圆满，获得无有窘迫，获得心坚固，心得安乐，竖立伞盖幢幡，通达此《金光明经》中的词句和各种不同的文字，能够分别，能够正确宣说，为了在无数佛陀面前，种下善根的那些有情众生的利益，此《金光明经》将长久住于阎浮提，不会迅速隐没，有情众生也将听闻此《金光明经》，在无数百千万亿劫中，将感受天人的安乐，不会有饥荒，年成丰收，有情众生也将因一切安乐而安乐，将与如来同在，在未来之时，将现证无上正等菩提，有情众生，地狱和畜生之处，以及阎罗世界的痛苦都将彻底断绝，例如：衣服和食物和卧具和坐垫和疾病的治疗药物和药品和资具和生活用品的各种差别，我也要使说法比丘喜悦。如来应供正等觉，名为宝莲花功德海琉璃和金色山，颜色美好，显现金色的吉祥，大天女吉祥已种下善根，因此，现在无论于哪个方向，于何处作意，于哪个方向观看，于哪个方向行走，于那个方向，那里无数百千万亿的有情众生都将因一切安乐而安乐。食物和饮料和财物和谷物和海螺和

Thereafter, the great goddess Shri addressed the Bhagavan thus: "Venerable Bhagavan, I, the great goddess Shri, will by all means ensure that the Dharma-preaching bhikshu will have all his needs fully satisfied, will obtain freedom from distress, will obtain steadfastness of mind, will have a happy mind, will have umbrellas and banners erected, will master the words and various different letters from this 'Golden Light Sutra,' will be able to distinguish them, will be able to pronounce them correctly, and for the sake of those sentient beings who have planted roots of virtue before countless Buddhas, this 'Golden Light Sutra' will abide long in Jambudvipa, will not quickly disappear, and sentient beings will also hear this 'Golden Light Sutra,' and for countless billions of trillions of kalpas, they will experience the happiness of gods and humans, there will be no famine, the years will be fruitful, and sentient beings will also be happy with all happiness, will be with the Tathagata, and in the future, they will realize the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, and the sufferings of sentient beings in hells and animal realms and the world of Yama will be completely cut off, such as: clothes and food and bedding and cushions and healing medicines for diseases and medicines and implements and various kinds of living supplies, I will also make the Dharma-preaching bhikshu happy. The Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened One, named Jewel Lotus Flower Merit Ocean Vaidurya and Golden Mountain, with beautiful color, appearing as golden auspiciousness, the great goddess Shri has planted roots of virtue, therefore, now in whatever direction, in whatever place he directs his mind, in whatever direction he looks, in whatever direction he goes, in that direction, there countless billions of trillions of sentient beings will be happy with all happiness. Food and drink and wealth and grain and conch shells and
