Which completely protects from all. Then, the Dragon King Ocean, the Dragon King Lightning Light, the Dragon King Anavatapta, the Dragon King Lightning Tongue, and the Dragon King Hundred Rays, bowed with folded palms towards the Blessed One's location, and spoke to the Blessed One as follows: "Blessed One, our great protector, called the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel, which averts all lightning, eliminates all untimely deaths, renders poisons harmless, and pacifies the fear of killers, curses, zombies, and inauspiciousness, exists. Blessed One, please compassionately consider accepting it in order to liberate us from this dragon realm and to abandon stinginess. Why is that? Blessed One, we dragons are stingy, our minds are surrounded by stinginess." Tadyatha. Arya Je Amare Amrite. Akshaye. Abhiye. Punyai. Varyavate. Sarva Papam. Prashama Niye Svaha. Arya Punya Sopakiye Svaha. Venerable Blessed One, know that whoever, male or female, utters these secret mantra words on their tongue, or writes them down, will have no fear of lightning. Neither root poison, nor tooth poison, nor mixed poison, nor any other poison arising from the limbs, will cause them to die at the time of death. May I be well and auspicious from all fears and all harms. Then, the Blessed One said "Well done" to Indra, Brahma, the world protectors, and those Dragon Kings, saying: "Good, you have asked for the benefit of many beings and for the happiness of many beings, and for the sake of fully upholding this Dharma category, it is good, good to speak the words of the Dravidian secret mantra. These words will protect those who are asleep, intoxicated, and extremely intoxicated." Homage to the departed! From the King of the Sublime Golden Light Sutra, the fourteenth chapter, entitled "The Chapter on the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel Dharani." Then, the great goddess Sarasvati arranged her upper garment to cover one shoulder, placed her right knee on the ground, and, with palms joined, bowed in the direction of the Blessed One. She addressed the Blessed One, saying: "Venerable Blessed One, I, the great goddess Sarasvati, for the sake of the eloquence of that Dharma-preaching bhikshu, will strive to enhance his eloquence. I will also bestow a dharani. I will universally establish definitive speech. I will grant that Dharma-preaching bhikshu great light of wisdom. If in this King of the Sublime Golden Light Sutra, any words or letters are completely lost or omitted, I will complete all the definitive sounds, words, and letters for that Dharma-preaching bhikshu. In order that this King of the Sublime Golden Light Sutra may long endure in Jambudvipa and not quickly disappear, for the sake of those beings who have planted roots of virtue before hundreds of thousands of Buddhas, so that many beings, having heard this King of the Sublime Golden Light Sutra, may have inconceivable sharp wisdom, may obtain an inconceivable heap of wisdom, may obtain a complete life in this life, may benefit life, may fully accumulate immeasurable heaps of merit, may extensively seek various methods, may be very learned in all treatises, and may obtain various complete skillful arts, in order to accomplish these without omission, I will also bestow a dharani. For the sake of that Dharma-preaching bhikshu and those beings who listen to the Dharma, I will speak of the practice of bathing associated with mantras and medicine, to eliminate the harm of planets, stars, birth, and death, as well as fighting, disputes, quarrels, bloody conflicts, bad dreams, and the harm of wrong views.
