Thus he spoke: 'Whatever you ask for, all of that will be accomplished. Whether you wish to go to a secluded forest, or desire precious jewels, or wish to please the minds of many people, or desire wealth such as gold and silver, or wish to achieve the siddhi of other mantras, or wish for miraculous powers, clairvoyance, and longevity, or wish to take medicine essences, etc., all will be accomplished as you wish. I have only mentioned those things briefly, but if you wish for something else, everything will be completely accomplished as you wish, and you will have an inexhaustible treasure of jewels and possess immeasurable merit. For example, there may be a time when the sun and moon fall to the earth, and this great earth changes, but this truthful word will never deceive, so you will always obtain happiness, wish-fulfilling joy, and enjoyment. Furthermore, O Bhagavan, whoever holds and carries this King of Sutras, or reads and recites it, or practices this mantra, will quickly achieve it with little effort. O Bhagavan, I have spoken this mantra for the sake of sentient beings who are afflicted by the suffering of poverty, so that they will obtain wealth, supreme happiness, and perfection in one lifetime. I will also completely protect and guard them, follow them, and ensure that all harm and injury are absent. Furthermore, whoever holds and propagates this Noble Golden Light Sutra King, and whoever holds this mantra, will be illuminated by light within a hundred steps, and my thousand yaksha attendants will always be at their service, and they will be made to do as they wish. O Bhagavan, please also remember that this truthful word of mine is never deceptive.' Then, the Great King Vaishravana spoke the mantra thus, and the Bhagavan praised him, saying: 'Well done! Well done! Great King, you should make all sentient beings rich and happy by freeing them from the net of suffering tormented by craving.'

For this reason, this mantra was recited. Furthermore, in order to make this sutra widely spread in the world, this mantra was spoken, well done, well done! Then, the four great kings rose from their seats, bared one shoulder, knelt on their right knees, folded their palms in reverence, and bowed their heads to the two feet. At that time, with these verses that were manifest and in accordance with the Dharma, they praised the Blessed One: Victorious One, body like the spotless moon, Victorious One, sun with the light of a thousand rays, Victorious One, lotus with spotless eyes, Victorious One, teeth like lotus stamens, without dust. The qualities of the Victorious One are like an ocean, the source of many jewels. Victorious One, ocean filled with the water of wisdom, filled with hundreds of thousands of samadhis. The feet of the Victorious One are like a wheel drawn, with a surrounding circumference and a thousand spokes. The hands and feet are adorned with nets, the nets of the feet like the king of swans. You are exceedingly like a golden mountain, Victorious One, immaculate king of golden mountains. All qualities are like the king of mountains, I prostrate to the Buddha, king of mountains. The Tathagata's moon is like the moon in water, similar and identical to the sky, unattached like an illusion or a mirage, I prostrate to the immaculate Victorious One. Then, the Blessed One spoke to the four great kings in verse: With the ten powers, this supreme golden light, the king of sutras, most excellent, you who protect the world, should guard it with steadfast diligence. Thus, this profound and subtle sutra treasure, which bestows happiness on all sentient beings, for the benefit and happiness of sentient beings, may it long abide in this Jambudvipa. Thus, in this three-thousand great-thousand world, the suffering of evil destinies and the suffering of hell beings, all suffering is pacified. In this Jambudvipa, all the kings who dwell in Jambudvipa, should generate great joy and govern their countries with the Dharma. Whoever brings happiness to this Jambudvipa,

Even if the year is extremely good, it will decay and disperse. Even if the entire Jambudvipa is pure, may all sentient beings be happy. Here, all the kings among men, with the joy of the country, the love of possessions, and the love of the prosperity of the kingdom, should listen to this king of sutras. This king of sutras can do supreme good, can completely destroy the enemy on the other side, can do the good of dispelling the army on the other side, and can relieve the poverty caused by extreme fear. For example, a precious tree is extremely beautiful, can produce all virtues, and exists in the home. All kings who desire virtues should also regard this king of sutras as such. For example, cold water can quench thirst, and those who are troubled by the heat get it. For the king who quenches his thirst with virtues, the superiority of this king of sutras is also the same. For example, the place where all treasures arise, the vessel of treasures is in the palm of the hand, the king among men, for the retinue, this supreme golden light sutra king is also the same. This is offered and worshiped by the assembly of gods. The king of sutras is worshiped by the king of gods, so it is guarded by the four great kings who protect the world and have great supernatural powers. The Buddhas of the ten directions also always remember this king of sutras. When this king of sutras is spoken, all the Buddhas will praise and say well. Hundreds of millions of kotis of yakshas also guard the country in the ten directions. With extremely joyful and extremely satisfied hearts, listen to this king of sutras. All the inconceivable assemblies of gods who dwell in Jambudvipa, all those assemblies of gods are extremely happy, so listen to this king of sutras. By this act of listening to the Dharma, one can obtain glory, strength, and diligence. With great power, the body of the gods will be extremely prosperous and grow. After that, the four great kings heard the verses spoken by the Blessed One, and they all felt rare, surprised, and happy. Because of the power of the Dharma, they cried and wiped away their tears in an instant, they...
