愿作乱的军队被打败，都退回各自的地方；愿那些地方没有瘟疫，没有战乱；愿所有的地方都没有因争夺宗教而起的战乱，人民安居乐业；愿那些人间的国王，在各自的国土上点亮伟大的正法明灯，照亮一切；愿所有天神的宫殿，都充满天神和天子；愿我们四大天王率领军队和侍从，以及无数的夜叉，还有居住在南赡部洲的所有天神都得到满足，受到供养；愿我们这些天神的身体，都因伟大的光辉而增长；愿我们的身体生起精进、力量和伟大的能力；愿我们的身体充满光彩、荣耀和圆满；愿南赡部洲各地风调雨顺，五谷丰登，充满生机，到处都是人和众生；愿居住在南赡部洲的所有众生都幸福安乐，体验各种各样的快乐；愿所有众生在无数的劫中，体验广大而又广大的天人和人间的快乐，与诸佛世尊同在；在未来的时代，都证得无上圆满正等觉的菩提，所有这些，现在，世尊如来应供正遍知，以无数的梵天之王所不及的，具足大慈悲力的加持，以及无数的帝释天所不及的天人智慧，如来无上的智慧，以及无数的具有五种神通的仙人所不及的加持力，如来应供正遍知，为了所有众生

May the armies of those who make mischief be defeated and retreat to their respective places; may there be no epidemics or wars in those places; may all places be free from wars caused by religious disputes, and may the people live in peace and prosperity; may those human kings light the great lamp of the Dharma in their respective countries, illuminating everything; may all the palaces of the gods be filled with gods and sons of gods; may we, the Four Great Kings, with our armies and attendants, and countless yakshas, and all the assemblies of gods dwelling in Jambudvipa, be satisfied and receive offerings; may these bodies of us gods increase with great splendor; may our bodies generate diligence, strength, and great power; may our bodies be filled with glory, honor, and perfection; may all parts of Jambudvipa have good harvests and be full of vitality, with people and beings everywhere; may all beings dwelling in Jambudvipa be happy and peaceful, and experience all kinds of joy; may all beings experience vast and vast happiness of gods and humans for countless eons, and dwell together with the Buddhas, the Bhagavat; in the future, may they all attain the unsurpassed, perfectly complete and awakened Bodhi, all of which, now, the Bhagavat Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha, with the blessing of the power of great compassion that surpasses countless Brahma kings, and the wisdom of the devas that surpasses countless Indra, the unsurpassed wisdom of the Tathagata, and the power of blessing that surpasses all the countless assemblies of sages with five kinds of supernatural powers, the Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha, for all beings.

之义故。 此《金光明最胜经王》，于此赡部洲中，广为如实善说。 人王之所需，王之教典，及王之所行，凡赡部洲所有，及凡以何能令此诸有情皆得安乐，彼等一切， 乃由薄伽梵如来应供正等觉，开示、宣说、如实善说此《金光明最胜经王》。 尊者薄伽梵，以彼因缘，彼人王，勿怀犹豫，当恭敬听闻此《金光明最胜经王》，恭敬供养，恭敬作礼。 如是请白已，薄伽梵告四大天王曰： 是故，四大天王汝等，偕同军队眷属，勿怀犹豫，人王听闻、供养、作礼此《金光明最胜经王》者，为彼等一切，当广作欢悦守护。 诸大天王，凡比丘，或比丘尼，或近事男，或近事女，何者执持此经王，亦当令彼等执持佛之事业，彼等于此含天人阿修罗之世间，将成办佛之事业。 此《金光明最胜经王》将广为如实善说， 诸大天王汝等四位，务必守护执持经王之比丘，或比丘尼，或近事男，或近事女，令无损害，无病，无恼，心安乐，且此《金光明最胜经王》将如实善说，当守护彼等执持经王之比丘，或比丘尼，或近事男，或近事女。 当善加救护，善加摄受，善加养育，令得寂静，得安乐吉祥。 其后，大天王多闻子...

For the sake of meaning. This "King of the Golden Light Sutra," is widely and truthfully well-explained in this Jambudvipa. Whatever the needs of the human king, the king's teachings, and the king's actions, whatever exists in all of Jambudvipa, and whatever can make all these sentient beings happy, all of those, are shown, spoken, and truthfully well-explained by the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha in this "King of the Golden Light Sutra." Venerable Bhagavan, by that cause and condition, that human king, without hesitation, should respectfully listen to this "King of the Golden Light Sutra," respectfully make offerings, and respectfully prostrate. Having thus requested, the Bhagavan said to the Four Great Kings: Therefore, you Four Great Kings, together with your armies and retinues, without hesitation, should widely rejoice and protect those who listen to, make offerings to, and prostrate to this "King of the Golden Light Sutra." Great Kings, any Bhikshu, or Bhikshuni, or Upasaka, or Upasika, who holds this Sutra King, should also be allowed to hold the deeds of the Buddha, and they will accomplish the deeds of the Buddha in this world with gods, humans, and asuras. This "King of the Golden Light Sutra" will be widely and truthfully well-explained, You Four Great Kings must protect the Bhikshu, or Bhikshuni, or Upasaka, or Upasika who holds the Sutra King, so that they are without harm, without illness, without distress, and with a peaceful mind, and this "King of the Golden Light Sutra" will be truthfully well-explained, and those Bhikshu, or Bhikshuni, or Upasaka, or Upasika who hold the Sutra King should be protected.
