I complete the precious qualities of Bodhi qualities. By the power of the confession of the sacred Golden Light, May my merit be greatly manifest. May my Bodhi light be completely pure, With the immaculate light of wisdom, May the light of my body be manifest. In order to make the light of merit clear, May I become especially supreme in the three realms, May I always have the power of merit, And be liberated from the ocean of suffering, With an ocean-like of all happiness, I will practice Bodhi in future kalpas. How many have passed away in the three realms in the past, Their fields are all the victors', What are the infinite and supreme qualities? With infinite qualities, may my field, Become like them in the future. Know it by the beautiful crest. The king, with the power of the golden hand, Made this aspiration in the past, That is you now. The two sons of the past were, The golden hand and the golden light, That is the silver crest and the silver light, I prophesied it at that time. After hearing this, many attendants, All generated Bodhi mind, Now and in the future, Always do this confession. The seventh chapter of the King of the Sacred Sutras of the Golden Light Sutra, which praises all the fields of the Buddhas who have appeared in the past, future, and present. Why is that? This Dharani is the mother of the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, of the past, future, and present. Holding this Dharani, the accumulation of merit will greatly increase. Those who have planted roots of virtue in the past at immeasurable Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, will hold and grasp it. Homage to the valiant great Bodhisattva Vajrapani! Homage to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Samantabhadra! Homage to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Inexhaustible Intelligence! Homage to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Great Power Attained! Homage to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Maitreya! Homage to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Excellent Intelligence! Having paid homage to them, one should recite this dharani. Namo Ratna Trayaya! Tadyatha: Kuti Kuti Ni! Imi Rito! Kosani! Imi Rini! Iri Svaha! Then, the Blessed One spoke to the Bodhisattva Steadfast Abiding: "This dharani is the mother of the Buddhas of the three times. Therefore, if any son or daughter of good family holds and retains this dharani, the accumulation of merit will increase immeasurably. They will have paid homage, made offerings, served, and praised countless Buddhas. Those Buddhas will also prophesy their attainment of unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. Steadfast Abiding, whoever holds this dharani-mantra will obtain clothes, alms, jewels, extensive learning and wisdom, freedom from illness, longevity, and so forth, as desired. Their merit will increase greatly. Whatever they desire, all of those things will be accomplished. Steadfast Abiding, if one holds and retains this mantra, until one attains unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, one will always abide together with Bodhisattva Golden City Mountain, Bodhisattva Maitreya, Bodhisattva Ocean, Bodhisattva Universal Avalokiteshvara, Bodhisattva Manjushri, Bodhisattva Great Pingala, and so forth. Those Bodhisattvas will protect them. Steadfast Abiding, know that this is the ritual for accomplishing this dharani. First, one should approach it by reciting it fully one hundred and eight thousand times. Then, inside a secluded room, having made a mandala, on the sixteenth day, having bathed and dressed
