Because the Dharma of action manifests without interruption, and all mindfulness of the signless is manifested, the sixth ground is called the Manifest Ground. Because there is no interruption to the uncontaminated Dharmas and mindfulness of the signless is practiced, and because the Samadhi of liberation is cultivated for a long time, and because that ground is completely purified and unobstructed, the seventh ground is called the Far-Reaching Ground. Because one gains mastery over the cultivation of mindfulness of the signless, and because one cannot be shaken by the afflictions, the eighth ground is called the Immovable Ground. Because one becomes master of teaching the Dharma in all aspects, is without fault, and obtains extremely vast wisdom without obstruction, the ninth ground is called the Ground of Good Intelligence. Because the Dharmakaya is like the sky, and is covered by clouds like great wisdom, the tenth ground is called the Cloud of Dharma. Therein, son of good family, the ignorance of manifestly clinging to characteristics in Dharma and individuals, and the ignorance of fearing the afflictions of samsara and the lower realms, these two ignorances obscure the first ground. The ignorance of delusion about subtle downfalls, and the ignorance of manifestly generating various actions and behaviors, these two ignorances obscure the second ground. The ignorance of wanting to obtain what has not been obtained, and the ignorance of obtaining the supreme holy dharani, these two ignorances obscure the third ground. The ignorance of craving the joy of the taste of meditative absorption, and the ignorance of craving pure Dharma, these two ignorances obscure the fourth ground. The ignorance of being extremely weary of samsara, and the ignorance of being manifestly inclined towards nirvana, these two ignorances obscure the fifth ground. The ignorance of the arising of formations manifesting, and the ignorance of coarse signs manifesting, these two ignorances obscure the sixth ground. The ignorance of subtle signs manifesting, and the ignorance of attending to the signless, these two ignorances obscure the seventh ground. The ignorance of deliberately striving for the signless, and the ignorance of gaining mastery over clinging to signs, these two ignorances obscure the eighth ground.

Those who are ignorant of the immeasurable teachings, and those who are ignorant of not being skilled in immeasurable words and letters, and those who are ignorant of not having obtained mastery over fearlessness, these two kinds of ignorance obscure the ninth ground. Those who are ignorant of not having obtained mastery over great supernormal knowledge, and those who are ignorant of not being skilled in the subtle secrets of meaning and action, these two kinds of ignorance obscure the tenth ground. For all extremely subtle realms of activity, there is ignorance of the obscuration of knowledge, and ignorance of the bad states of extremely subtle afflictions, these two kinds of ignorance obscure the Buddha ground. Son of the lineage, for the bodhisattva who abides on the first bodhisattva ground, the perfection of generosity is predominant. For the second bodhisattva ground, the perfection of ethics is predominant. For the third ground, the perfection of patience is predominant. For the fourth ground, the perfection of diligence is predominant. For the fifth ground, the perfection of meditation is predominant. For the sixth ground, the perfection of wisdom is predominant. For the seventh ground, the perfection of skillful means is predominant. For the eighth ground, the perfection of aspiration is predominant. For the ninth ground, the perfection of power is predominant. For the tenth ground, the perfection of wisdom is predominant. Son of the lineage, the first generation of the mind of a bodhisattva mahasattva is born by being completely held by the samadhi of precious, truly sublime. The second generation of the mind is born by being completely held by the samadhi of non-abiding. The third generation of the mind is born by being completely held by the samadhi of the utterly immovable. The fourth generation of the mind is born by being completely held by the samadhi of non-retrogression. The fifth generation of the mind is born by being completely held by the samadhi of precious lotus. The sixth generation of the mind is born by being completely held by the samadhi of the splendor of the sun's rays. The seventh generation of the mind is born by being completely held by the samadhi of all meanings accomplished. The eighth generation of the mind is the present manifest Buddha.
