It should be said! It should not be concealed! Everything should not be done! Whoever wants to be the same as the beings in the formless realm who approach the sphere of infinite space, and those who approach the sphere of infinite consciousness, and those who approach the sphere of nothingness, and the gods who approach the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, then he should also, in this way, separately confess karmic obscurations, should not conceal, and should not do everything. Whoever wants to realize the fruit of stream-entry, and the fruit of once-returner, and the fruit of non-returner, and the fruit of Arhat, then he should also, in this way, separately confess karmic obscurations, should not conceal, and should not do everything. Whoever wants to attain the three knowledges, or the six supernormal powers, or the powers, or the faculties, or the Paramita of the Hearers, or is known as the most powerful among the Hearers, or wants to realize the Pratyekabuddha enlightenment, then he should also, in this way, separately confess karmic obscurations, should not conceal, and should not do everything. Whoever wants to realize the omniscient wisdom, and the pure wisdom, and the inconceivable wisdom, and the unequaled wisdom, and the wisdom of the perfectly enlightened Buddha, then he should also, in this way, separately confess karmic obscurations, should not conceal, and should not do everything. Why is that? Shariputra, the Tathagata said that all phenomena are interdependent origination. Because there are causes and conditions, there are others, others are born by others, others are ceased by others. Among them, the past dharmas, those are ceased, exhausted, separated, and transformed, and for those dharmas, there is no karmic obscuration at all. In this way, all formations also arise from nothingness, and for those formations, there is no karmic obscuration at all. Why is that? Shariputra, the Tathagata said that all dharmas are emptiness, without sentient beings, without life, without personality, unborn, unceasing, unconditioned. Shariputra, all dharmas...

Also arising from purity, I also exist. Shariputra, whichever son of good family or daughter of good family, like this, enters into the ultimate Dharma of no sentient beings, this is called severing the continuum of karmic obscurations. Shariputra, this is individual confession. Then, again, the venerable Shariputra said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, whether a son of good family or a daughter of good family who has truly entered the Hearer Vehicle, or has truly entered the Solitary Buddha Vehicle, or has truly entered the Great Vehicle, or any other sentient beings, wishing to awaken to unsurpassable, perfect, complete enlightenment, how should they rejoice in these roots of virtue? After asking this, the Blessed One said to the venerable Shariputra: Shariputra, in this regard, whether a son of good family or a daughter of good family, three times during the day and three times during the night, baring one shoulder, placing the right knee on the ground, joining the palms, say these words: In the ten directions of the world, whatever sentient beings, all the objects of merit arising from generosity, arising from ethics, and arising from meditation, having manifestly gathered them, I rejoice in them all with the supreme rejoicing. I rejoice with the noble, principal, special, best, excellent, abundant, supreme, unsurpassed, incomparable, unequal, and equal rejoicing. In the realms of the ten directions, whatever sentient beings, all the objects of merit arising from generosity, arising from ethics, and arising from meditation, will manifestly gather, for all of them, I rejoice with the supreme rejoicing, from the unequal to the equal rejoicing. In the ten directions of the world, whatever sentient beings, all the objects of merit arising from generosity, arising from ethics, and arising from meditation
