, complete. The powerful king always worships it, and it transforms into that and those. Whoever hears this confession resounding in their ears, they have not done good deeds from one Buddha, not from two, not from four, not from five, not from ten. Thus, they have done good deeds from a thousand Buddhas. At that time, the Bhagavan, having heard those verses, said to the Bodhisattva Beautiful Crest: "Excellent, excellent! Son of the lineage, in your dream, the golden drum praises the Tathagata's true qualities, and whoever hears these confessions, all of them will possess a vast accumulation of merit, benefit many beings, and be satisfied with happiness. Know that all obscurations will be purified. These extraordinary practices are all due to praising the Tathagatas in the past, making vast prayers, and through the blessings of the Tathagatas, they have been heard." Having spoken thus, all those assembled retinues rejoiced in what the Bhagavan had said. The fourth chapter, "Confession in Dreams," from the King of the Sublime Golden Light Sutra, is complete. Then, the Bhagavan, abiding in true discernment, as soon as he entered into the extremely profound and supreme Samadhi, from the pores of his body, hundreds of thousands of immeasurable rays of various colors emerged, and all the Buddha-fields appeared within that light. Even the sands of the Ganges River in the ten directions cannot be measured by example or measure. Those beings in the world of the five degenerations, illuminated by that light, who engage in the ten non-virtuous paths of action, commit the five heinous crimes, slander the Three Jewels, offer little service to their gurus and friends, and do not respect gurus and Brahmins, those who are destined to fall into the realms of hell beings, animals, and hungry ghosts, as soon as that light touches their places, they each experience happiness.

Upon seeing that light, through the power of that light, everything became peaceful and joyful, and having obtained the supreme of beautiful color and form, possessing perfect names, and adorned with the accumulation of merit and wisdom, thus the Tathagatas were seen. Then, Indra, the king of gods, with many assemblies of gods, and the goddess Ganga, etc., those assembled retinues, urged by that wondrous light, went to where the Bhagavan was, and having arrived, circumambulated the Bhagavan three times, and then sat to one side. Then, the venerable Shariputra rose from his seat, draped his upper robe over one shoulder, knelt on his right knee, and with palms joined, bowed towards where the Bhagavan was, and said to the Bhagavan: "Bhagavan, whether it be a son of good family or a daughter of good family, who has entered the Hearer Vehicle, or who has entered the Pratyekabuddha Vehicle, or who has entered the Great Vehicle, or any other sentient being, wishing to awaken to the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, how should they individually confess their karmic obscurations?" After saying this, the Bhagavan said to the venerable Shariputra: "Shariputra, in this case, whether it be a son of good family or a daughter of good family, who has entered the Hearer Vehicle, or who has entered the Pratyekabuddha Vehicle, or who has entered the Great Vehicle, or any other sentient being, desiring to awaken to the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, three times during the day and three times during the night, draping their upper robe over one shoulder, kneeling on their right knee, and with palms joined, should recite these words: 'For the benefit of many beings, for the happiness of many beings, with compassion for the world, for the vast multitude of beings, for the benefit of gods and humans, for the sake of benefit and happiness, those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who are now in the ten directions, having awakened to the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, are turning the wheel of Dharma, are teaching the wheel of Dharma, are upholding the Dharma.'
