it is not. Again, for example, when smoke, clouds, dust, and fog in the sky disappear, the realm of the sky becomes completely pure, but the sky itself does not disappear. Similarly, the Dharmakaya is called completely pure because all afflictions have been exhausted, but the Dharmakaya itself has not disappeared. Furthermore, for example, someone dreams that they are carried away by a great flood in their sleep, moving their body and limbs, and with body and mind exerting effort, they dream of reaching the opposite shore. When they awaken from that dream, although they do not see the water and the opposite shore as separate, their mind itself has not disappeared. The cessation of conceptualization in samsara is also the complete purification of wisdom, and the Buddhas do not disappear. Similarly, because all conceptualizations do not arise in the realm of Dharma, it is called completely pure, but the true body of the Buddhas does not disappear. Furthermore, son of the lineage, the Dharmakaya, because the obscurations of afflictions are completely purified, the Sambhogakaya appears. Because the obscurations of karma are completely purified, the Nirmanakaya appears. Because the obscurations of wisdom are completely purified, the Dharmakaya appears. For example, relying on the empty sky, lightning arises. Relying on lightning, light appears. Similarly, relying on the Dharmakaya, the Sambhogakaya appears. Relying on the Sambhogakaya, the Nirmanakaya appears. Therefore, because the nature is completely pure, the Dharmakaya appears. Because wisdom is completely pure, the Sambhogakaya appears. Because samadhi is completely pure, the Nirmanakaya appears. The complete purification of these three is because of the Suchness of Dharma, and the Suchness of non-otherness, and the Suchness of one taste, and the Suchness of liberation, and the Suchness of limitlessness. Therefore, all Buddhas are of one and the same body. Son of the lineage or daughter of the lineage, whoever says, "The Tathagata is my great teacher," and has faith in this, that is truly knowing that the body of the Tathagata is non-dual. Son of the lineage, therefore all activities
