I prostrate to you! I prostrate to the Bodhisattva Sadāprarudita! I prostrate to the Bodhisattva Dharma-dhvaja! I prostrate to the Bodhisattva Who Abides in Supreme Bliss! Having respectfully prostrated to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in this way, then recite the mantra. If you wish to invoke the great glorious goddess, by the power of this mantra, all the things you seek will be accomplished. I prostrate to the great glorious goddess! The mantra is as follows: Sādya thedana. Pratipūrṇu care. Samantādarśane. Mahāvihāragati. Samanta. Vimānagati. Mahākārya. Pratiprāvaṇe. Sattvārthasamatānuprapūre. Ayāna. Dharmatā. Mahābhogini. Mahāmaitri. Upasaṃhite. Hiteṣi. Sagṛhīte. Samārthānupālinisvāhā. Bhagavan, whoever recites and holds this dhāraṇī mantra, and invokes me with it, upon hearing the invocation, I will go to that place and fulfill their wishes. Bhagavan, this is the word of the empowerment ritual, the word for the accomplishment of samādhi, the word of truth, the word without deception, the true conduct, the root of virtue for all sentient beings. Whoever truly holds, reads, and recites this mantra, having properly taken the vows with eight branches up to the sevenfold umbrella, in the morning, first clean the teeth with a toothbrush, then wash cleanly, and in the morning, make offerings to all the Buddhas with incense and flowers. Confess your own sins, and in order to quickly fulfill the wishes of yourself and all sentient beings, completely dedicate and make aspirations. Make a clean room, or a solitary place, or even a monastery. Make a mandala with cow dung, then burn sandalwood and make offerings. Lay down a supreme seat, adorned with banners and umbrellas. Scatter sacred flowers inside the mandala, and with one-pointed mind recite the mantra, hoping that I will come there. At that time, remember and look at me, so that in that person's room

Having entered and ascended the seat, I will accept its offerings. Thereafter, that person will see me in a dream, so, with truthful words requesting whatever desired objects, I will make it known. Whether it be a village, a city, a nomadic monastery, or even a monastic college, whatever is desired will be completely fulfilled, so gold, silver, wealth, jewels, cattle, sheep, grains, food, drink, and clothes will be obtained as desired, and one will fully enjoy happiness and the highest enjoyments. Having thus obtained the supreme and perfect fruition, with whatever supreme fortune one has, one should make offerings to the Three Jewels and also bestow upon me. Having extensively arranged a Dharma gathering, mixing food and drink, scattering incense and flowers everywhere, one should make offerings. Having made offerings, whatever remains of the offered food, one should sell it, and having taken the price, make offerings again, and I will always dwell there as long as I live, protecting and guarding that person, freeing them from poverty and haste, and fulfilling their wishes as desired. From time to time, one should also bestow upon the poor, and not be miserly for my sake alone. Constantly reciting this sutra, without interruption, one should make offerings, and whatever merit there is, one should give it to all beings, completely dedicating it to Bodhi, thereby certainly escaping from Samsara, and praying to quickly attain liberation. Then, the Bhagavan said to the Glorious Goddess: You have thus extensively propagated this sutra, having done inconceivable benefit to both yourself and others, well done, well done! Thus he praised. From the King of Sutras, the Supreme Golden Light Sutra, the seventeenth chapter, the chapter on the Great Glorious Goddess Increasing Wealth.
