因为是逝者之母的缘故。当时，具寿舍利子和众多眷属听到这样的话语后，都非常欢喜，都乐意接受。胜金光明最胜王经中，无所执著陀罗尼品第十三。 之后，世尊在众多眷属中对具寿阿难陀说：你应该这样了解，名为如意宝珠的陀罗尼，能够远离一切损害，能够阻止和摧毁一切不祥的龙和闪电。这是过去如来、应供、正等觉诸佛所说的，所以今天我也为了利益天人和世人，为了慈爱世间，为了完全守护一切并获得安乐，而向众多眷属你等如实宣说。之后，众多眷属和具寿阿难陀听到世尊这样说，各自一心一意地注视着世尊的脸，开始听闻明咒。世尊说：你们好好听着。从这里向东方有闪电光明的国王名为阿嘎达，向南方有闪电光明的国王名为夏德汝，向西方有闪电光明的国王名为祖德光，向北方有闪电光明的国王名为苏达玛尼，各自存在。任何善男子或善女人，如果听到这些闪电国王的名字并知道方位，那么这个人将远离一切恐惧和害怕的事物，一切突发的灾难都将完全平息。如果无论在何处，将这四方闪电国王的名字写成文字，那么在那些地方就不会有龙和闪电的恐惧，也不会有邪魔和损害的障碍。一切非时横死都将远远地避开。之后，世尊

Because she is the mother of the departed. At that time, the venerable Shariputra and the many retinues, having heard these words, were all greatly delighted and all willing to accept them. The thirteenth chapter, the Dharani of Non-Attachment, from the King of Sutras, the Supreme Golden Light Most Victorious. Then, the Blessed One, in the midst of the many retinues, spoke to the venerable Ananda, saying: You should understand this as follows: the dharani called the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel, which completely averts all harm, and prevents and destroys all inauspicious dragons and lightning, exists. This was spoken by the Buddhas, the Tathagatas, the Arhats, the Perfectly Complete Buddhas of the past. Therefore, today, I will also truly reveal this sutra to you, the many retinues, for the benefit of gods and humans, for the love of the world, and for the sake of completely protecting all and attaining happiness. Then, the many retinues and the venerable Ananda, having heard the Blessed One speak thus, each with one-pointed minds, gazed at the face of the Blessed One and began to listen to the vidya-mantra. The Blessed One said: Listen well, all of you. From here, to the east, there is a king of lightning light named Agata, to the south, there is a king of lightning light named Shataru, to the west, there is a king of lightning light named Tsutekwang, and to the north, there is a king of lightning light named Sutamani, each existing in their respective directions. If any son or daughter of good family hears the names of these kings of lightning and knows the directions, then that person will be free from all fearful and frightening things, and all sudden harms will be completely pacified. If, wherever one dwells, the names of these kings of lightning of the four directions are written down, then in those places where one dwells, there will be no fear of dragons and lightning, and there will be no obstacles of demons and harms. In this place named so-and-so, may all fear and dread, and all the torments of suffering, as well as dragons, lightning, thunderbolts, and all sudden deaths, be separated, Svaha. Then, Bodhisattva Mahasattva Avalokiteshvara, standing up from the seat where he was sitting among many retinues, draped his upper garment over one shoulder, respectfully joined his palms, and spoke to the Bhagavan as follows: Bhagavan, today I also wish to benefit gods and humans, to have compassion for the world, to completely protect all and attain happiness, to possess the power of great strength, and to fulfill all wishes as desired, so I will briefly explain the Cintamani Jewel Dharani in front of the Bhagavan. Then he spoke the Dharani mantra: Tadyatha. Kate. Vikate. Nikate. Pratyarthike. Pratyamitre. Shuddhe mukte. Vimala. Prabhasvare. Andare. Pandare. Shvete. Pandara vasini. Hari kandari. Pingala.
