Having properly taken the lands, purified regrets, encouraged, prayed, and rejoiced in the roots of virtue, all of these I now gather together and, with a mind free of regret or miserliness, completely dedicate to all sentient beings. Whatever roots of virtue are completely held by the side of liberation, known and seen by the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, with immeasurable and unobstructed purity, like this, all the roots of virtue of merit, without abiding in the mind of signs and without employing the mind of signs, are completely dedicated to all sentient beings. Likewise, whatever roots of virtue arise from my merit, all of these I also completely dedicate to all sentient beings, may all obtain the wish-fulfilling hand, extract jewels from the sky, and completely fulfill the wishes of all sentient beings. Having obtained inexhaustible enjoyment, limitless wisdom, and unobstructed confidence in the sacred Dharma, may all sentient beings jointly manifest and perfectly awaken to unsurpassed, complete, and perfect enlightenment, and attain omniscience. Through the cause of this root of virtue, whatever immeasurable virtuous Dharma is generated, all of that I also completely dedicate to unsurpassed enlightenment. May I and all sentient beings become like the Buddha Amitayus, the Buddha Holy Light, the Buddha Sublime Light, the Buddha Akshobhya, the Buddha Excellent Qualities Light, the Buddha Lion Light, the Buddha Hundred Lights, the Buddha Remembrance Light, the Buddha Jewel Name, the Buddha Jewel Flame, the Buddha Blazing Light, the Buddha Increasing Blazing Light, the Buddha Auspicious Supreme King, the Buddha Sublime Sound, the Buddha Supreme Arrangement, the Buddha Dharma Banner, the Buddha Supreme Holy Body, the Buddha Manifest Joy Form Body, the Buddha Light Rays Illuminating Everywhere, the Buddha Pure Brahma King, the Buddha Nature of the Supreme Guru, and so on, just as they are, perfectly manifesting complete enlightenment. Like this, those Tathagatas, perfectly knowing, past, future, and present, enjoying complete enjoyment, showing the emanation body, having attained the unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment, turning the unsurpassed wheel of Dharma, just as they tame sentient beings, may I also become like that, recite as shown extensively above. Son of lineage, any man or woman who possesses extremely pure faith, from the King of Sutras, the Supreme Golden Light, takes, holds, reads, recites, remembers without forgetting, and extensively and truthfully explains this chapter on the complete purification of karmic obscurations to others, will obtain an immeasurable and incalculable accumulation of merit. With reverence and the attitude of a teacher, offerings are made with the four kinds of items. For each Pratyekabuddha, each is filled with seven treasures equal to Mount Sumeru, the king of mountains. After these Pratyekabuddhas have completely passed into Nirvana, stupas are built from precious materials and offerings are made. These stupas are about twelve yojanas high, and are constantly offered with flowers, incense, precious victory banners, banners, and many umbrellas. Son of the lineage, what do you think of this? How much merit will those people obtain? The King of Gods replied: Bhagavan, very much. It is not even close to one hundred thousandth, one croreth, and so on. It cannot even be compared in terms of quantity, example, or cause. Why is that? Sons and daughters of the lineage, if they abide in correct conduct and request the Buddhas, the Bhagavat of the ten directions, to turn the unexcelled wheel of Dharma, then the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, will be very pleased and praise them. Son of the lineage, as I have said, among all donations, the donation of Dharma is the most supreme. Therefore, son of the lineage, even offering to the Three Jewels cannot be compared. Taking refuge in the Three Jewels, encouraging others to protect all precepts without violating them, and not emptying the three karmas cannot be compared. Encouraging all beings in all worlds, according to their ability, power, and inclination, to generate the mind of enlightenment in the three vehicles cannot be compared.
