Therefore, since the Dharmakaya will be attained, all Tathagatas are endowed with the three kayas. Son of the lineage, all Buddhas are the same as the Buddhas in their actions by virtue of the first kaya; the same as the Buddhas in their intentions by virtue of the second kaya; and the same as the Buddhas in their form by virtue of the third kaya. Son of the lineage, the first kaya of the Buddhas, because it has many forms according to the inclinations of sentient beings, it shows various characteristics, therefore it is shown as many. The second kaya of the Buddha, because the disciples are of one mind, it shows only one characteristic, therefore it is shown as one. The third kaya of the Buddha, because it pervades all aspects of the two characteristics and is not the object of grasping characteristics, therefore it is shown as neither one nor different. Son of the lineage, the first kaya appears clearly depending on the Sambhogakaya. The second kaya appears clearly depending on the Dharmakaya. The Dharmakaya is not truly existent, so it has no place to depend on. Son of the lineage, in this way, these three dharmas are called permanent because they have the meaning of permanence. What is taught is taught as impermanent because it has the meaning of impermanence. The Nirmanakaya, because it constantly turns the wheel of Dharma, and in those and those, as the conditions are, it constantly shows skillful means without interruption, therefore it is taught as permanent. Because it is not fundamental and does not manifest great and abundant activities, it is taught as impermanent. The Sambhogakaya, because from beginningless time, it continuously gathers and holds all the unshared dharmas of all Buddhas without interruption, and because its activities are inexhaustible just as sentient beings are inexhaustible, it is taught as permanent. Because it is not fundamental and does not manifest great and abundant activities
