Furthermore, the former two bodies are merely nominal, while this third body is truly existent, being the root of the former two. Why is that? Because apart from the suchness of dharma and non-discriminating wisdom, the Buddhas possess no other dharma. When all Buddhas attain perfect knowledge, all afflictions are completely pacified and exhausted, and the Buddhas attain purity. Therefore, the suchness of dharma and the wisdom of suchness encompass all the dharmas of the Buddhas. Moreover, sons of good family, all Buddhas are the ultimate in benefiting themselves and others. Benefiting oneself is the suchness of dharma, and benefiting others is the wisdom of suchness. Having attained mastery in benefiting oneself and others, they accomplish limitless and diverse activities. Therefore, the dharmas of the Buddhas are distinguished as having various, countless, and endless differences. Sons of good family, just as, for example, based on unreal conceptualization, various afflictions, various causes of karma, and various ripened fruits are shown, so too, based on the suchness of dharma and the wisdom of suchness, various Buddha dharmas, various Pratyekabuddha dharmas, and various Shravaka dharmas are taught. Having gained mastery over all the Buddha dharmas based on the suchness of dharma and the wisdom of suchness, one becomes perfect. This is called supremely inconceivable. Just as drawing pictures in the sky to adorn it is inconceivable, so too, perfecting all the Buddha dharmas based on the suchness of dharma and the wisdom of suchness is also inconceivable. Sons of good family, how is it that there is no conceptualization in the suchness of dharma and the wisdom of suchness?

If the things done by my own nature can be perfect? Son of good family, For example, just as the Tathagata attains the aspiration for complete nirvana, therefore the various things done are perfected, similarly, the things done by the suchness of Dharma and the wisdom of suchness, attaining complete accomplishment is also the same. Furthermore, Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas, even if they abide in the samadhi of no-mind, rely on the aspirations of the past, rise from samadhi, and manifest actions for many things. Similarly, even without discrimination for these two dharmas, the actions done by their own nature will be completely perfected. Son of good family, for example, the sun and moon also have no discrimination, water and mirrors also have no discrimination, and light also has no discrimination, but when the three are combined, images will appear. Similarly, the suchness of Dharma and the wisdom of suchness also have no discrimination, but relying on the power of aspiration, for sentient beings who are fortunate, they manifest the enjoyment body and the emanation body, just as the images of the sun and moon combine to appear. Furthermore, son of good family, for example, countless and immeasurable water and mirrors, relying on light, show various different images and characteristics in the sky, but the sky itself is without characteristics. Son of good family, similarly, the way to tame disciples is the image of the Dharmakaya, relying on the power of aspiration, various characteristics appear from the two bodies, but in the realm of Dharmakaya, there are no different characteristics. Son of good family, relying on these two bodies, all Buddhas show the nirvana with remainder. Relying on the Dharmakaya, they show the nirvana without remainder. Why? Because all dharmas will eventually be exhausted. Relying on these three bodies, all Buddhas show the non-abiding nirvana.

It has been taught. For the sake of the two bodies, one does not abide in Nirvana, because there is no other Buddha apart from the Dharmakaya. Why do the two bodies not abide in Nirvana? Because these two bodies are merely imputed, not real, arising and ceasing in an instant, so they certainly do not abide, because they appear repeatedly and are not fixed. The Dharmakaya is not like that, therefore the two bodies do not abide in Nirvana. The Dharmakaya is non-dual, therefore it does not abide in Nirvana. Therefore, relying on these three bodies, the non-abiding Nirvana is taught. Son of lineage, all ordinary beings possess three characteristics, therefore they are bound and obscured, and they abandon the three bodies from afar and cannot approach the three bodies. What are the three? The characteristic of complete imputation, the characteristic of arising from other's power, and the characteristic of perfect accomplishment. Like this, because these characteristics are not fully understood, not pacified, and not completely purified, therefore one cannot approach these three bodies. Like this, if these three characteristics are understood, and one approaches pacification and becomes completely purified, then the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, will possess the three bodies. Son of lineage, ordinary children, because they have not abandoned these three types of minds, they abandon the three bodies from afar and cannot approach them. What are the three? The mind that initiates action, the mind that relies on the root, and what is the root mind. By relying on the paths of taming, the mind that initiates action will be exhausted. By relying on the path of abandoning with Dharma, the mind that relies on the root will be exhausted. By relying on the path of supreme transformation, the root mind will be exhausted. Because the mind that initiates action approaches pacification, the Nirmanakaya will be shown. Because the mind that relies on the root approaches pacification, the Sambhogakaya will be shown. Because the root mind approaches pacification,
