The supreme one among the two-legged, the perfectly complete Buddha, is the teacher of all worlds. The Buddha said that I am his father. The greatly miraculous gods and nāgas, then everyone welcomed him, saying to prostrate to the most excellent of the two-legged, and also spoke much to the one with great fortune. The assembly of gods and humans, and all the assemblies of spirits, humans, sages, and yakshas, are dwelling and devoted to you. Even if one tried to set fire to the tree, one could not burn the cremation tree. Then, that one without faults, the greatly miraculous one with great fortune, at the lower part of the cremation tree, made prostrations with magical powers. Remembering the Thus-Gone One, he also made many circumambulations. At that time, having broken open the iron coffin, both feet were stretched out, and again and again he anointed the feet, and having prostrated to the two feet with his head, he looked many times at the two feet of the most excellent Buddha. He placed the two feet back and placed them properly in the iron coffin. Greatly miraculous, without desire. He then stood up from there.
