KYA HO! Never associate with those who are not disciples, who do not possess the Dharma, who do not have faith in the teacher and the teachings, who are defeated by others, who are untamed, who are arrogant, and who seek faults in the teacher and the teachings. I will not give to those who do not rejoice in the sons of the Victorious One, and who cannot bear to make offerings and receive even the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas. For them, mantras will not be accomplished. Those who have faith and a peaceful mind, who greatly rejoice in the Buddha's teachings, and who always make offerings and receive the mind of enlightenment, are the most important. For them, this mantra will be accomplished. This ritual has been truly taught. The great mantra of a single syllable is certainly blessed by Manjushri. This mantra is given by the protector of the world, who gives hope and bestows. It is the essence of all Buddhas, the source of all mantras. Seventy-six kotis were previously spoken by the self-born one himself. For sentient beings deluded by sin, these mantras are for the sake of virtue. All the mantras of the Tathagatas truly abide in the form of the teacher. For them, this becomes the essence. The king of knowledge is of great power, always abiding in a single syllable, truly entering into it. Here, abiding at the end of the Dharma, becoming a Buddha for the benefit of beings. Truly abiding in the rules of the Dharma, this is the single syllable. The mantra accomplishes all meanings, subdues fierce kings, performs various actions, and accomplishes all actions. Actions are the eight thousand roots, and will certainly become the doer. By the actions seen in the ritual, various perfections are given. The essence of Manjushri is truly associated with the letter "MA". The letter "U" always moves, and always enters into the world. Life and wisdom increase immeasurably, which is the definite meaning spoken by the Victor. For the sake of Manjushri, the Buddha gives this for the sake of empowerment. Therefore, in this degenerate age, after the teacher has passed into nirvana, by the cause seen in the ritual, it will quickly be accomplished. Life is immeasurable, which is to be distinguished. There, the Bhagavan Buddha turns the wheel of Dharma.

In terms of time, I, the last of the Tathagatas, have also declared it. In times of strife and when the teachings decline, I will act to protect my teachings. Other rituals of this will also be briefly explained, Manjushri Kumara, please listen. Among the vast rituals of the Great Lord, the empowerment of the king of rituals is to be declared. First, ascend to the top of a mountain for a while, and if you recite three hundred thousand times, it will become as if you have practiced before. Living on milk, practicing the vow of silence, not relying on other mantras, not thinking of others, fully taking refuge in the Three Jewels, generating Bodhicitta, properly taking the five precepts, properly taking the Bodhisattva vows, and reciting, one should perform all actions with this. First, to draw on cloth for a while, one should have the painter observe fasting and draw with unmixed colors. On any clean piece of cloth or silk, sprinkle with water of sandalwood, camphor, and saffron. In a clean place, make a clean drawing, eating the three whites, wearing white clothes, on the fifteenth of the full moon, at the time of sunrise, under a pure constellation, draw until noon when the sun is halfway, and then stop drawing. In this way, do it every day until it is completely complete. First, draw the world of Amitayus on the cloth for a while. The cloth should be about one cubit, or the height of a span of the Tathagata. On a four-cubit cloth, draw the world of Amitayus around it. Padmaraga jewels, Indranila jewels, crystal, and emeralds, should be decorated below the image. Above these, draw a beautiful immeasurable palace of jewels, erect beautiful banners and victory banners, and in the middle of it, Amitayus is the incomparable King of Freedom, the Tathagata, is sitting on a lion throne teaching the Dharma. From all directions, garlands of light are blazing. The color is slightly red and white. On the left, sitting on a blue stone, is the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Mahasthamaprapta, holding a fly-whisk in his right hand and pointing it towards the Tathagata.
