Alternatively, one should perform a fire offering of one thousand and eight on the firewood of the Udumbara tree, mixed with yogurt, honey, and ghee. If it does not rain, performing a fire offering of the three sweets will make everything supremely peaceful. Eating begged food and fasting for three nights until the fifteenth day (full moon) of the half-month (white month) of great miracles. When the moon is seized by Rahu (lunar eclipse), one hundred and eight recitations are made over the milk of a black cow, and if it is drunk, one will be endowed with the qualities of absorbing essence. If one recites one hundred thousand times over a peacock's tail feather, all poisons will be eliminated. Likewise, it will eliminate epidemics, eye diseases, boils, and other ailments. A protective thread will liberate one from all diseases. With the mudra and the mantra as spoken, if one performs a fire offering of one thousand and eight on the firewood of the Sengdeng tree mixed with yogurt, honey, and ghee, one will destroy the mantras of the Asuras. For twenty-one days, during the three times of day and night, if one performs a fire offering of one thousand and eight with rice porridge mixed with yogurt, honey, and ghee, one will obtain enjoyment. Fire offerings with branches of the Ashoka tree are for yaksha women. For the nagas, one should use flowers from the naga tree. For the noble Vajrapani, one should use branches of agarwood. For vidyadharas, one should use branches of the Posoncha tree. For gandharvas, one should make fire offerings with agarwood branches mixed with Turuska oil. For pretas, one should use branches of the bilva tree. For non-humans, one should make fire offerings with solid resin. For all evil guides, one should perform one hundred and eight fire offerings for seven days. For the king's son, one should make one hundred and eight fire offerings with mustard seeds mixed with sesame oil for seven days, three times a day. If one recites one hundred thousand mantras facing the sun, one will be completely liberated from all sins. Recite one hundred and eight times, and fumigate with agarwood smoke, and one will be satisfied and prosperous. Reciting once will protect oneself. Reciting twice will protect others. Reciting three times will protect objects. If one wants to heal a broken body, emaciation, poisoning, or being struck by a phurba, one should make an image from the medicinal herb ushira. Offer white flowers, and in front of the painting of the Crown King, offer mustard seed oil to the king, mixed with yogurt, honey, and butter, and make one thousand and eight fire offerings, then the vidya will be approached and the phurba will appear. If one knows that the vidya is fruitless no matter how much one recites, one should write on paper with gorocana. Praise that paper one hundred and eight times. Then make a grand offering to the Bhagavan.

If you want to accomplish the lotus flower, make a lotus flower out of red sandalwood, make great offerings, fast for three days, hold the lotus flower in your right hand, and recite until it burns, you will have twenty servants and you will be able to walk in the sky, become a Vidyadhara Chakravartin, and walk without hindrance. At the time of death, you will be born in Sukhavati. If you want to accomplish the vajra, mix the soil of an anthill and sand to make a vajra, live on begged food, practice the asceticism of not speaking, block the road, hold the vajra, and quickly recite one hundred thousand times. The vajra should be made with a single point. Place the vajra in mustard seeds, and recite until the mustard seeds make a "tsi ti tsi ti" sound, then the vajra will be accomplished. Take out the vajra and you will be able to do all actions. You can grind the top of a mountain into powder, wither a Naga tree, and reverse the flow of a river. You can separate the Nagas, make poisons non-toxic, make all beings stiff, make them ignorant, make them fall, make mantras ineffective, and make vehicles and the like stiff as well. All such actions can be accomplished with this three-pointed vajra, and even those who practice vows cannot directly create obstacles. When constantly reciting with this ritual, recite the Buddha's Eye Mantra once at the beginning and end, and those will become peaceful and the accomplishment will also directly manifest. Then, in a river flowing into the great ocean, if you throw in one hundred thousand lotuses with a single syllable (种子字，梵文：एकाक्षर，Ekākṣara，single syllable), auspiciousness will come by itself and will also bestow excellence and kingship.
