They will not be able to, they will abide in a state of mutual loving-kindness, beneficial goodwill, and without harmful intent. They will be content with their own possessions. Manjushri, furthermore, those four assemblies of monks, nuns, laymen, and laywomen, and also those sons or daughters of good families who closely abide by the eight-limbed upavasatha vow, holding the precepts for one year or three months, and who think in their minds: 'By this root of my virtue, may I be born in the western direction, in the realm of Sukhavati where the Tathagata Amitabha resides.' Among those who have made such aspirations, those who have heard the name of the Blessed One, the Tathagata Medicine Guru Bhaisajyaguru, at the time of death, eight Bodhisattvas will come by means of miraculous power and show them the way. They will be born there by appearing in various colored lotuses. Those who will be born in the heavenly realms, having been born there, their previous roots of virtue will not be exhausted, and they will not go to the lower realms. Then, having died and transmigrated, they will also be born in this human world, becoming the sovereign wheel-turning king of the four continents, placing countless billions of trillions of sentient beings on the path of the ten virtuous actions. Alternatively, they will be born into royal families, like great sala tree houses; Brahmins, like great sala tree houses; and householders, like great sala tree houses; and into families possessing abundant wealth, grain, storehouses, and granaries. They will possess perfect form, perfect power, perfect retinue, and will be brave, steadfast, and endowed with great strength. Any woman who hears and holds the name of that Tathagata should know that her female body is the last. I shall extensively and correctly demonstrate to those sons or daughters of good families who have faith, who write, cause to be written, or inscribe on books, and honor them with flowers, incense, garlands, unguents, umbrellas, and banners. I shall proclaim in various ways the name of the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Medicine Guru, the Lapis Lazuli Radiance. Even in dreams, I shall cause the name of the Buddha to be heard. If it is wrapped in five-colored cloths and placed in a clean place, wherever this sutra is located, the four great kings with their retinues, and other billions of gods, will come. Those who hold this sutra, which extensively describes the name of the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Lapis Lazuli Radiance, and the distinctions of past aspirations, will not die untimely. No one will be able to steal their radiance, and even if it is stolen, it will be stolen back again. The Blessed One said: Manjushri, it is indeed so, just as you have said. Manjushri, those sons or daughters of good families who make offerings to the Tathagata should make an image of the Tathagata and observe the eight-limbed noble precepts for seven days and nights, eat pure food, bathe their bodies well, wear good, clean clothes, and scatter various flowers in a clean place, burn various incenses, and adorn the place well with cloths, umbrellas, and various banners. They should cultivate a mind free from defilement, a mind free from turbidity, a mind free from harm, a mind of loving-kindness, a mind of equanimity, and a mind of impartiality. 乃是费小力气就能找到的。如果想要儿子，就能得到儿子。如果有人做了罪恶的梦，或者在哪里看到乌鸦和不祥之兆，或者在什么地方有八种不吉祥的事物存在，如果有人对薄伽梵如来药师琉璃光作各种供养，那么就不会见到恶梦、不祥之兆和一切不吉祥的事物。如果有人害怕火、害怕水、害怕武器、害怕毒药、害怕悬崖、害怕凶猛的大象、害怕狮子、害怕老虎、害怕熊和棕熊、害怕毒蛇、害怕蝎子和蜈蚣，如果他们对如来作供养，就能从一切恐惧中完全解脱。如果有人害怕敌军、害怕盗贼、害怕强盗，也应当对如来作供养。妙吉祥，此外，有信心的善男子或善女子，如果终身皈依三宝，不皈依其他天神；如果有人受持五学处；如果有人受持十学处；如果有人受持菩萨戒的四百条学处；如果是从在家身份出家的比丘，受持二百五十条学处；如果是比丘尼，受持五百条学处；如果有人在如是受持的戒律中，违犯了任何一条，因为害怕堕入恶趣而恐惧，如果他们对薄伽梵如来药师琉璃光作各种供养，要知道他们不会遭受三恶道的痛苦。如果妇女在分娩时，遭受剧烈难忍的痛苦，如果她对薄伽梵如来药师琉璃光作供养，她就能迅速解脱，并且会生下一个肢体健全、相貌端正的儿子。

it will be found with little effort. If one desires a son, one will obtain a son. If someone has sinful dreams, or sees crows and bad omens anywhere, or in any place where eight inauspicious things exist, if someone reveres the Blessed One, the Tathagata Medicine Guru, the light of lapis lazuli, with various offerings, then one will not see bad dreams, bad omens, and all inauspicious things. If someone is afraid of fire, afraid of water, afraid of weapons, afraid of poison, afraid of cliffs, afraid of fierce elephants, afraid of lions, afraid of tigers, afraid of bears and brown bears, afraid of venomous snakes, afraid of scorpions and centipedes, if they make offerings to the Tathagata, they will be completely liberated from all fears. If someone is afraid of enemy armies, afraid of thieves, afraid of robbers, they should also make offerings to the Tathagata. Manjushri, furthermore, any son or daughter of good family with faith, who takes refuge in the Three Jewels for as long as they live and does not take refuge in other gods; and if someone upholds the five precepts; and if someone upholds the ten precepts; and if someone upholds the four hundred precepts of the Bodhisattva vow; and any fully ordained monk who has left the householder's life and upholds the two hundred and fifty precepts; and any fully ordained nun who upholds the five hundred precepts; and if someone has broken any of the precepts among those vows that have been taken as they were received, and is afraid and terrified of falling into the lower realms, if they make various offerings to the Blessed One, the Tathagata Medicine Guru, the light of lapis lazuli, know that they will be without the suffering of the three lower realms. If a woman experiences unbearable and intense suffering at the time of childbirth, if she makes offerings to the Blessed One, the Tathagata Medicine Guru, the light of lapis lazuli, she will quickly be liberated, and will give birth to a son with complete limbs and a beautiful form.
