This reading is the supreme of all protectors. Then all the gods will be pleased at that time. Those who are unruly in the world, they will go in all directions. Therefore, at all times, the sacred Dharma should be read at that time. After summoning all the disciples, give them refuge in the Three Jewels. Speak of not doing evil deeds, and also have them take vows. The wise should perform the ritual in this way, and also have them generate Bodhicitta. With the mantra water of Vajra the Fierce, then sprinkle and cleanse everything. After fully reciting the vows, the wise one enters within, and should completely change clothes, and empower them with mantras. At that time, the compassionate one should cover the faces of those disciples, with the seal of the vows of the Wheel-Turning King, bind them with mantras, and give flowers in their hands, at that time, visualize the letters in their hearts. In front of all the givers, let them discard those flowers. The wise one places the vajra bell in the right ear of the disciple, the great goddess called Vajra Drum on the left. Wherever the flowers fall, it is considered that deity is their deity. After thus having the disciple enter, at that time the vows should be shown. The wise one, in order to pacify, should perform the fire offering in this way. Then, Manjushri, transformed into a youth, spoke thus to the Bodhisattva Vajrapani: Peace and increase, dominion and likewise fierce conduct, the work of fire offering in brief, please, O Great Bodhisattva, speak. All the rituals are extensive, and likewise, different actions are also spoken of. Where is the place of the Great Bodhisattva, where should the hole for the fire stove be made? What kind of wood is for burning, what kind of work should be undertaken? O Lord, please explain the stove hole, please dispel my doubts. After he spoke thus, the Bodhisattva, the Great Bodhisattva Vajrapani, spoke thus to Manjushri, transformed into a youth: Great Bodhisattva, well done, well done, well done. Whatever questions you have asked, all those will be spoken of. Listen with an undistracted mind. In the center of the second mandala, make a fire stove hole for the fire offering.
