It causes heat and bristling hair. Even in dreams, one sees Vajrapani. Without doubt or hesitation in the mind, knowing the time and also knowing the measure, acting with gratitude and speaking truthfully. Such a teacher, in front of a stupa containing relics, or in front of an image of the deity, or entering a river flowing into the ocean, should recite each of the aforementioned heart essences a million times. After that, with the heart essence of the wrathful Vajrapani, one should mix mustard powder with the three sweets and burn them ten thousand times. After that, one should sit in the center of the great mandala of the Chakravartin and recite the great ritual of the Bhagavan Chakravartin. With the great heart essence of the wrathful one, one should perform the ritual of purifying and protecting the disciples. After that, one should examine the ground, a place without stones, gravel, or pebbles, free from faults such as living beings, ant nests, corpses, etc., is auspicious in all respects. There, if one does not encounter a malefic planet, it is not a bad date, avoiding discordant encounters and conflicts, and if one begins work when the sun, action, moment, constellation, and auspicious planets are manifest, it will be auspicious. Red, yellow, white, and black, the guide is the fifth. In whatever land it may be, the wise should dig one cubit deep. The earth that the mantra practitioner has dug should be filled with the same earth. If there is any left over, then everything is excellent. If it is insufficient, it is called mediocre. If it is not filled, then abandon that land. The wise should not begin work there. White indicates pacification, red is considered for the purpose of subjugation, yellow should be known for increase, black should be known for fierce action. There, offerings, bali offerings, and butter lamps, incense, and fumigation should be carefully offered and protected, and one should speak to the earth while remaining in equanimity. That night, in that place, one should sleep on a bed of kusha grass. If that land is suitable, then one should carefully draw there. The former Buddha, the supreme among men, said that this place is without obstacles. Otherwise, one should not draw there, because with obstacles, it will lead to ruin. After that, the mantra practitioner rises, and on that day, the wise one, in order to completely secure the land, should perform this burning offering. Mixing honey, milk, and butter and burning them will become an excellent offering.

With a peaceful mind, pour out offerings, perform twenty-one fire offerings. Then, the mantra practitioner digs the earth, and fills it again with that earth. Or, when doing mandala work, the mantra practitioner fills the earth with incense. Beat it well and make it smooth and even, all directions and gates, everything should be beautifully adorned with five kinds of jewels. In particular, in the center of the earth, the five kinds of jewels should be placed. Then, select and accept disciples who possess qualities. Through recitation, reading, and all the fire offerings, strive to protect them. For the recitation of this secret mantra of the supreme giver, the wise Vajra, by analyzing faults and merits, first examine them. Those who possess these qualities should be accepted after careful examination. Touch and craftsmanship are perfect, clear, gentle, diligent, possessing wisdom, stable, with upright conduct, devoted to the Three Jewels, beautiful in form, with complete limbs, those who delight in the Great Vehicle, and also to all Bodhisattvas, truly and constantly respectful, respectful to father, respectful to mother, diligently offering to the guru, those who from the heart constantly engage in benefiting others, those who are upright and trustworthy, not deceitful and diligent in Dharma, body, speech, and mind are pure, these people should be carefully examined and accepted. It is beneficial to fully proclaim the merits arising from reciting mantras. All the miraculous powers possessed by Bodhisattvas should also be fully proclaimed. Be compassionate to others, and these should be proclaimed from time to time. When a quarter of the night remains, if you have a good dream, then those who take refuge in the Three Jewels should sit down very well in front of the Buddha at dawn, and you should tell those dreams. Sitting on a lotus is the best, and taking and seeing are also the same. Dreaming of seeing the ocean, swimming, and drinking are also the same. Seeing the Buddha brings joy to the heart. For disheartened Bodhisattvas, as well as Pratyekabuddhas, Shravakas, and wise people, seeing them brings joy to the heart. A pile of fire burning and making sounds, the king of the herd of cows and the proud elephant, a horse turning white, seeing those and riding them, a herd of cows is also auspicious.
