May I separately protect all places. Even when great fear arises, if they worship us, demons will not harm us, and that fear will not arise. Then the eight great nagas pleased the Bhagavan with the sound called "Phut," and entreated him thus: "Bhagavan, we offer the essence of secrets." The great nagas said, "Excellent, excellent! Offer the essence of secrets." Then, having been pleased, they prostrated to the Bhagavan and entreated him thus: "Om Phu! (Tibetan: ཨོྃ་ཕུཿ, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ phuḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om Phu!) Om Phu! (Tibetan: ཨོྃ་ཕུཿ, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ phuḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om Phu!) Om Pham! (Tibetan: ཨོྃ་ཕྃ, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ phaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om Pham!) Om Phu! (Tibetan: ཨོྃ་ཕུཿ, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ phuḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om Phu!) Om Phi! (Tibetan: ཨོྃ་ཕཱི, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ phī, Literal Chinese meaning: Om Phi!) Then the mandala of those is explained: A great lotus with eight petals, its color white, well-painted. In the center of that mandala resides Vajrapani, extremely black. Draw endless snake heads with seven hoods, a great threatening gait. Likewise, draw Endless and Nandaka, the cause of power, those with lineage, Wealth Increase, Child, Conch Protector, Lotus, and Water Lord. In short, on each petal, draw those burning snake heads. Draw seven snake heads each with a small wife, embracing from the neck. Eight vases should be placed, with beautiful tormas and divine food, along with butter, milk, and honey, and the distinctions of preparations. The one abiding in the nature of vajra summons those with snake heads with snake heads. Together with the one called "Phut," say Jaḥ Hūṃ Baṃ Hoḥ! (Tibetan: ཛཿཧཱུྃ་བྃ་ཧོཿ, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: jaḥ hūṃ baṃ hoḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Jaḥ Hūṃ Baṃ Hoḥ!) Then, the king or a member of the royal family, having included all of them, for the sake of removing the faults of poison, empower them with the one called "Phut." Then, merely by holding the name, all those nagas accomplish everything. Then, all of them being pleased, prostrate to the Bhagavan, and standing before him with palms joined, they will make fervent prayers. "Bhagavan, if we deceive those who are exceedingly delighted with the Bhagavan's teachings, those who have entered this mandala, then at that time, may we be deceiving this very Bhagavan. At that time, may we be burned by a heap of sand. May the all-burning vajra shatter our heads. May we always, at all times, protect, save, and conceal that great being. Auspicious!"

May there be great bliss, strength, and diligence. May their poisons be without poison. May it rain in due season. May all the flowers be in full bloom. May it rain in due and undue season on all enemy battlefields. May all sentient beings be nourished. May the commands of the Victorious Ones and the commands of the Vajra Holders be perfectly accomplished. Then the practice is explained: Visualize the divine substance with white radiating light, where the Nagas reside with reverence. Meditate on the chief Vajra Holder, and recite "Phut" a hundred thousand times. Then, for those afflicted by poison, in the mandala called "Phut," divine substance, a garland of light intertwined, visualize the syllable "Phut" there. With hands making the snake-head lasso mudra, by the wind of "Phut," draw out and heal all the poison in the form of "Phut" residing in the skin, flesh, and bones. Then accomplish all actions, and if poison epidemics, mixed poisons, etc., are all eliminated even by the fist mudra, what need is there to mention the snake-head hand seal? Then, the owner of the great belly, the great terrifying mother surrounded by eight great mothers, prostrated to the Bhagavan and spoke thus: Bhagavan, we, through the fear of terror and the fear of mothers, cause all beings, including gods and nagas, to be terrified, utterly terrified, falling face down, unclothed, losing their minds, and wandering everywhere. For the sake of benefiting them, we wish to offer our essence. Bhagavan, please bless it well. Great Terrifier, well done, well done! Utterly terrifying one, speak the essence of yourself and all the daughters of the gods.
