Friendship and hatred are the same. If you want to win in battle, cultivate great loving-kindness. The mandala of commitment. Then let him enter the mandala and teach this: Homage to all the Buddhas! May all sentient beings be happy! Give loving-kindness to all beings, and give fearlessness to all animals. The mandala of action. By cultivating loving-kindness, all accomplishments can be accomplished by the accomplishment you desire. Also, accomplish all actions with the rituals and loving-kindness that you believe in your heart! Then, after teaching the mudra, teach the ritual: Except for those who are virtuous and grateful, and the vision of the retinue of the gods, transfer all the others who are unwholesome.
