Om (Tibetan: ཨོྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om), Vajra (Tibetan: བཛྲ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्र, Sanskrit Romanization: vajra, Chinese literal meaning: Vajra), Uttistha (Tibetan: ཨུཏྟིཥྛ, Sanskrit Devanagari: उत्तिष्ठ, Sanskrit Romanization: uttiṣṭha, Chinese literal meaning: Arise)! Vajra arises, great miraculous power. Just by saying it, all the gods and so on, are revived again. Completely separated from all suffering, the suffering of death is pacified. With the loving-kindness of Vajra arising, urging all the Buddhas, then all the gods and so on, arise with the loving-kindness of the Buddha. Joining palms together with one word, they requested the Bhagavan, "Bhagavan, by what fault have you subdued us in this way?" All compassionate Buddhas, we pray for your protection. The Bhagavan said: "I cannot protect you and benefit you. This is the fierce Vajradhara, said by all the Buddhas to be the master." They requested: "You do not understand the meaning of Bhagavan, what is to be done? Who is the master of the Buddha? What kind of noble Buddha is it?" The Bhagavan said: "Whatever is the Bodhi of all the Buddhas, from that comes the Vajra-holder. Whatever is the Bodhicitta, that is the Vajra. Whatever is the Vajra, that is the fierce holder." They requested: "All the Buddhas are completely peaceful, that is the same as Bodhi. It arises from compassion and Bodhicitta, from where does such fierceness come?" The Bhagavan said: "This is subduing with skillful means, it completely subdues all the wicked. This glorious Vajradhara, truly arises from Bodhicitta." Then King Vajradhara, the great lord of the Vajra Wrathful One, calling all the assembly of gods, said to the Great Ishvara: "The commands of my teachings, O wicked ones, listen! Otherwise, with the blazing Vajra, I will burn you along with your race." The gods, including Vishnu, reported in one voice: "As the Lord commands, Great King, we will do so." Then the Great God said: "I do not know the Vajra Yaksha, I myself am the king, listen to my command." After hearing the words of the Great God, the Vajra Wrathful One blazed fiercely, destroying the Vajra Yaksha, the true speech of the King of Wrathful Ones. Unmoving, he falls under the sway of death, Remaining like a fallen tree. Without movement or shaking, He is tormented by Vajra Krodha. The Bhagavan (Tibetan: བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས།) then spoke, "Vajra Krodha, all-knowing, Why does this great being Exhaust the cause of life, And cause its decline?" Then the king, Vajradhara, Was urged by the compassion of the Buddha. It is called Vajra Life (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་ཚེ།), This Vajra Wisdom is spoken. That Vajradhara is not cruel. The all-knowing Bhagavan spoke, "I cannot act with affection, This is extremely fierce and violent, Go to him for refuge." Vajra Krodha, the great god, Summoned all and spoke thus, "Listen to the commands I have taught, You great cruel ones." To the great lord, Vajra Yaksha, The great god spoke again, "I can endure great death, But I will not abide by your commands."
