Wealth and treasures bring glory and fortune, Endowed with auspicious forms, The meaning of vows and auspiciousness, Is the essence of holding the jewel. What does the letter Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ， हूँ，hūṃ，seed syllable) mean? It tames and destroys suffering, It cuts the noose of existence, It frightens and slays the malicious, Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ， हूँ，hūṃ，seed syllable) is the supreme remembrance. What does the letter Phaṭ (ཕཊ，फट्，phaṭ，utterance) mean? It destroys malice and suffering, It summons the lord of bliss. It is not an external offering, This is offered by all the Buddhas, Likewise, it is the supreme of liberation. Those secret offerings, Are of the fearless princes, Identical to the nature of all Buddhas, Your own incomparable son, The secret of accomplishing rituals, Is always the supreme of vidyādharas. Likewise, understanding the vow itself, Whatever one enters into, That is understanding the vow. Habituating the vow is also, Called understanding the vow. Having passed countless eons, It becomes identical to bodhicitta. Entering the secret vow, That is called understanding his vow. For what reason is it a mandala? Because it is the essence of the sacred Dharma, Therefore, it is called a mandala. The great mandala is a great secret, It profoundly reveals the great Dharma. What is the ritual of the mandala like? The ritual is Dharma and yoga, From which secret liberation truly arises, In this very life alone, It becomes the supreme accomplisher of great joy. Having entered the mandala, Whether male or female, What kind of action should be done? Please speak, secret sovereign. Taking refuge in the Three Jewels, Generating the great bodhicitta, Likewise, the supreme of practice, Is to be done with utmost steadfastness. Having entered the mandala of the capable one, How should vows be given? You to sentient beings
