Then, for the sake of accomplishment, what is the meaning of the empowerment of the guru, etc.? Therefore, the disciple who receives empowerment, even the impure will become pure. Vajrasattva, the great bliss, was asked by Padmapāṇi, "How does empowerment occur in the continuum, and how does the main deity explain it?" Vajrasattva, the all-knowing, the one who cuts off all doubts, because he knows that nature, spoke to Padmapāṇi. Just as that meaning is, I will truly explain, listen! The distinctions of empowerment are: the first empowerment is the main deity, the second is called secret empowerment, the third is complete union, and the meaning of the fourth is the ultimate. The main deity has eleven distinctions, the twelfth is secret empowerment, the thirteenth is true union, and the fourteenth is the ultimate truth, each empowerment corresponding one by one. Three are the empowerments of cause, and the fourth should be known as the result. With the stages of joy, etc., I pervade all. On the third day of the waxing moon, as well as the tenth and fourteenth days, the guru bestows empowerment according to the ritual for the disciple who possesses excellent qualities. The body is slender and sixteen years old, adorned with beauty and fortune, with wide blue lotus-like eyes, possessing compassion and honesty, gentle speech, having received empowerment, and especially devoted to the Yoga Tantra. Or, she is twenty years old, pleasing and brings happiness, beyond that, she becomes without fortune, which will make accomplishment distant. Especially for a gentle girl, a wife or sister, or a daughter with faith, offer her to the guru. With gold and precious jewels, clothes, and various pearl necklaces, after offering, sit in front of the guru, and the disciple says: From now on, I am your servant, please, Lord, accept my offerings. After pleasing the guru in this way, offer the guru with all of yourself. The nature of the guru is Vajradhara (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་།, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्रधर, Sanskrit Romanization: Vajradhara, Literal Chinese meaning: Holder of the Vajra), therefore, one should truly offer to the guru. Then, offer to the Blessed Mother Consort (Tibetan: ཡུམ་ཕྱག་རྒྱ།), after truly offering, one should rely on her. Whatever arises from reliance, the downfall in the mouth of the fortunate one, with coarse things and union, should be truly enjoyed. The wisdom that arises from that is great bliss, self-awareness, exhaling and inhaling are of one taste, and extremely joyful.

Offer with Argha. On the jewel wheel of the mantra (Hūṃ Phaṭ, Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं फट्, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ Phaṭ), place it and vigorously shake the vajra. All joys are as they are, born in that instant. With a joyful heart in bliss, speak from the mouth of the Vajra Lady. Then hand it to the disciple, and clearly say these words: How to perform the lotus offering? Do it, E Vaṃ, the supreme face. Because the Vajradhātu Lord Himself enters into this heart. By other means, the yogi will not attain Buddhahood. Even the extremely subtle object is realized by the Mahasukha yogi. Serve with great effort. The characteristic of Coemergent Joy is that, with empowerment as the main thing, everything is attained as it is. The second chapter of the 'Manifest Realization of the Great Yoga Tantra, Glorious Vajra Garland,' is about examining the teacher and disciple and empowerment. Then, listen to something else. Clarifying the meaning of the Vajra Garland, which is completely hidden in all the tantras, do not speak to other questioners. The name is Vajra Garland, which is also the thirteenth ground, the place of the meaning of the four joys. All emptiness is joy, transcending the realm of speech. The second is completely abandoning everything, the ultimate of all virtuous yogas, the realm of speech of the yogini, emptiness wisdom vajra, which is called the Vajra Garland. Emptiness Vajra Secret Lotus, the root is the Vajradhātu Lord, wisdom supreme great bliss, coemergent joy is wonderful. That vajra also pierces through all kinds of conceptual thoughts and is widely known. The continuation of those garlands, the vajras of bodhicitta, are called vajras because they are indestructible. Completely hidden in all the tantras, do not speak to anyone. That is widely known as breath. The continuation of the garland is uninterrupted, and with the nature of the overflowing joy, it pierces through all the winds of conceptual thought. It is not possible to pierce the wind. Day and night constantly, one hundred and eight more clearly, the winds of the nature of conceptual thought, arising and ceasing, are well distinguished as they are. Listen to the names of the winds, letting go and holding, and ten million, etc.
