The order of separation, this is the third (chapter). From then on, for that reason, the four elements' characteristics will be correctly explained. All things, without exception, are filled, That is the nature of the elements. Earth, all things rely on it. Fire, makes everything mature. Water, destroys everything, Wind, moves together. Space, exists empty with space, There, everything arises from there. Wherever one exists, The four are all nearby. Grass, trees, forests, vines, etc., Are merely consciousness like inanimate objects. All six realms of sentient beings, In every joint and segment, Exist as if with consciousness. Therefore, all existing objects, Should be understood with wisdom. When sentient beings die, The wind of all limbs and branches Will move everything. In that instant, fire loses heat. Water always dries up, And then becomes without feeling. The earth element of the body and so on, Only the state of hardness remains. Birth and death, Will happen in everything. Gods, Asuras, and humans, Will not be born without elements. The guardians of the heavenly realms, etc., Are together with everything. All the tenets of the Vedas, Always desire and meditate, Because it is everywhere, Exists among all people on earth. The four elements are the main and supreme, Are correctly explained in all scriptures. Wind is correctly regarded as life, Fire is the characteristic of survival, Water is the essence of nectar, Earth is merely the state of a field. There, the god who always exists, Is the lord of supreme consciousness, In the form of the five deities, That consciousness completely transforms. Form, feeling, perception, As well as formation and consciousness. Like a mirror, equality, Individually and completely discriminating, As well as accomplishing activities, The Dharmadhatu is extremely pure, These wisdoms completely exist. Vairochana and Ratnasambhava, Amitabha and Amoghasiddhi, As well as Akshobhya himself, The five (wisdoms) are one taste, complete enlightenment. Form, sound, as well as smell, Taste, touch, as well as Dharma. In the six objects are the knowable, These are explained as completely pure. The elements are twelve

The five aggregates are the knowable, they are the nature of the aggregates. In order to obtain the fruit of Buddhahood, one should practice the supreme letter. One should practice the eye and so on, the consciousness of the eye's faculty, is the vajra emanation of the mind. The meaning of the three self-natures is pure, it transforms into the state of luminosity. The consciousness of sound and ear, is the self-nature of no object. Nose and smell and consciousness, should also be known as pure in the same way. Taste and tongue and consciousness, are pure in the ultimate sense. Body and touch and consciousness, arise as the self-nature of illusion. Mind and dharma and mind-consciousness, are pure in the essence. The six consciousnesses enter into the alaya, therefore it is the Tathagata. Obtain the state of luminosity, the glory of Heruka truly abides. By the union of object and subject, it transforms into the state of non-discrimination. Because it abides in the supreme of all aspects, therefore one should know that the object is pure. Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, are regarded as three in one. The three refuges and the three suchness, the three bodies and the three liberations, three faces, three syllables, three deities, are the self-nature of the three realms. Three mandalas and three yogas, thus the three paths are taught, three vows and three virtues, thus body, speech, and mind, wisdom and means, and the combination of the three, by the nature of the source of Dharma, how to see the three secrets, and the combination of the three wheels without object, is the self-nature of the three mantras. Of the inner and outer self-nature, the self-nature of the three roots is the essence. Outer is the worldly dharma, inner is the self-nature of deities and so on, because of the purity of inner and outer, the yogi attains Buddhahood. In the self-nature of the Dharmadhatu, the deity should be directly perceived. The supreme self-nature of all aspects, should be completely visualized as a goddess. In the self-nature of the first deity, Vajrasattva abides. The symbols of places and fields and so on, the assembly of heroes and yoginis, thus the union of non-duality, the deities truly descend, from the descent of immeasurable deities, visualize the measurable mandala. The deity yoga is inconceivable, it is also the play of the Buddhas.
