Sleep will increase, as well as auspicious sounds, like the vajra, and similarly, the sun and moon will be obscured as scheduled, and fully possessing the characteristics of great clouds, appearing like that, clouds that raise doubts will rise, and thunder will sound, it should be known, as the sages have said. Knowing this, before the demons devour, all seeds should be sown. If birds are driven away, then merchants will accomplish their tasks. Such an earthquake is generally considered auspicious. Also, seven days after the earthquake, clouds will rise, and again, clouds like the garments of Kashi will cover, emitting discordant sounds, moving westward, and clouds resembling Shushumara, Baluka, fish, and crocodiles dwelling in water will appear, and the sun and moon will be obscured, if such characteristics appear, then it should be known that this is a transformation of water. This is what the great sages have taught. Seeds should be sown on hills and mountaintops, fields, and places without moisture, in low places they will decline. Similarly, they will turn into mud and water, and gather in low places. Such an earthquake, it should be known that it is due to water, it is auspicious. Also, in this way, within seven days after the earthquake, a violent and unbearable wind will blow, appearing yellow as scheduled, and the sun and moon will appear red, if such characteristics appear, then it should be known that this is an earthquake of wind.
