A city built on the hand direction will possess many foods and drinks and will be filled with the nature of ignorance. A city built on the Namso direction will be radiant, possessing much wealth and grain, but will eventually be destroyed. A city built on the Gya direction will also be auspicious, and even unpleasant people will become peaceful in their hearts. There will be many holy people there, full of Dharma, and long-lived, people will possess glory, but eventually all the essence of grain there will disappear. A city built on the Ska direction will have little merit, will like to quarrel, will have inferior fate, will be full of discipline and suffering, will be very unfortunate, and will be filled with untamed people. The city built on the Muchu direction will possess wisdom, great wealth, and will be satisfied with its own wife, desiring to be the most outstanding victor. A city built on the Gre direction will possess women, garlands, food, fine clothes, cattle, and wealth. A city built on the Dawo direction will possess wealth and grain and will be filled with ignorant men and women. A city built on the four fire directions will possess wisdom and much wealth, will respect each other, and will possess beds. A city built on the Lhamtsam direction will conquer the senses through Dharma and discipline, will be satisfied with its own wife, and the men will seek the benefit of others through recitation and fire offerings.
