If we were to fight with those who are ungrateful and come to harm us, there would be no distinction between the wise and the foolish, and black and white would not be apparent. We are only afraid, and in order to repel the enemy, everyone vowed as follows: 'We will all shoot arrows together, without scolding or harming the other side.' Thus, we arranged four types of armies and met your army forty yojanas ahead. If everyone shoots arrows, the stream of arrows will be continuous. King, are you not afraid and will you not retreat?' Then, after ninety days, they again led the four types of armies, advanced towards the Shakya clan, and crossed the river. At that time, the sons of the Shakya clan deliberated as follows: 'King Vaidurya is a sinful person, without shame, and now he has come to harm us again. We, the Shakya clan, will vow as follows: I will shoot arrows at those enemies all at once, without harming their bodies, but rather cutting off all the connections of their armor, so that the armor falls to the ground.' After vowing this, all the Shakya clan shot arrows, cutting off all the connections of the armor, leaving them naked. Then, the prince was afraid and deliberated, saying, 'If this continues, it will endanger our lives. What should we do?' One of the ministers suggested, 'The Shakya clan are disciples of the Buddha, and they observe the precept of not killing, and they are very compassionate, so they have not harmed us. If it were not so, our bodies and lives would have been lost long ago.' After saying this, he added, 'If this is true, then let us continue to advance.' At that time, the sons of the Shakya clan stood without moving their hands. Even when King Vaidurya's four types of armies approached, the sons of the Shakya clan did not resist, but only stood there. Then, a Brahmin stood there and said to the Shakya clan, 'Now that bad things are happening, why do you stand there without resisting?' The Shakya clan said, 'We have no attachment to anything. If we become attached to this, we cannot be disciples of the Buddha.' Those Brahmins were not satisfied with their words, and alone stood in front of the Shakya clan, rushed towards King Vaidurya's army, and shot an arrow, hitting seven

Seven people were injured, and soon the number of injuries and deaths increased. King, haven't you and the four types of armies returned? After the army returned, the Shakya people thought to themselves: We live and associate with this Brahmin, we are of the same race. The Shakya people gathered together and expelled the Brahmin from that place. After the Brahmin was expelled, the king again led the four types of armies to attack Kapilavastu and achieved victory. Afterwards, King Vaidurya felt ashamed and embarrassed. Then, he summoned butchers of low caste, cut off the feet and hands of the Shakya women, cut off their noses and ears, transported them in wooden carts, and abandoned them in the cemetery. At that time, the Shakya women, with their hands and feet cut off, rolled on the ground, suffering great pain, and were on the verge of death. At that time, the Shakya women, tormented by suffering, some called out the names of their parents, brothers, and sisters, some called out to the sky, some called out to the earth, and some called out to extreme suffering. Among them, one of the most excellent Shakya women said to the other women: Sisters, understand this way. I have heard from the Buddha before: If someone is poor and destitute, with one-pointed mind remembers the Buddha, recites the name of the Buddha, at the time of death, they will have their wishes fulfilled and attain happiness. Afterwards, five hundred Shakya women gathered together with one-pointed mind and recited in unison: Homage to Buddha Shakyamuni, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha. Alas, alas! How painful! How painful! Blessed One, Sugata. As soon as they said these words, by the power of the Tathagata's great compassion, clouds of great compassion formed in the sky above. Rain fell from the clouds of great compassion, and the raindrops fell on the bodies of the women. As soon as the rain fell on them, all the limbs of those women, such as their hands and feet, were restored as before. At that time, the Shakya women were overjoyed, and everyone spoke in unison.

Thus, the Tathagata, the loving parents, the unsurpassed Bhagavan, is the supreme medicine of the world! Is the bright eye of the world! Is the one who liberates from the suffering of the three realms! Is the giver of extreme bliss! Why is that? Because we are liberated from the torment of suffering, so we should remember the kindness of the Buddha, and now we should repay the kindness of the Buddha, what kind of method should we use to repay the kindness? The body of the Tathagata is the vajra body, is the eternally existing body, is the body without hunger and thirst, is the holy body, meditation and, samadhi and, faculties and, strength and, the limbs of enlightenment are inconceivably perfect and complete! The thirty-two marks and, the eighty minor marks are perfectly adorned! Abiding in the great nirvana of complete extinction, looking at all sentient beings like Rahula! Even enemies and friends are treated equally, not expecting anything in return, now we should repay the kindness of the Buddha, we should renounce and uphold the precepts, uphold the true Dharma, after thinking like this, look for robes and bowls, go to the nunnery, pray for ordination, go to the nun's residence, and meet the six groups of nuns who had met before, the six groups of nuns advised us like this, daughters, you are young, in the prime of your youth, with beautiful faces, if you feel sad, why do you want to give up such a difficult thing to give up, and want to renounce? Therefore, isn't it happy to enjoy the five desires of the world? Isn't it possible to enjoy happiness and live a long life, and then renounce? The six groups of nuns thought, if these people do not renounce, they will definitely take away our robes and, bowls and, all desires, after thinking like this, they created obstacles for the daughters of the Shakya clan to renounce. The daughters heard those words and became even more unhappy and overwhelmed by sorrow, why do we have to encounter such great terror again now? Just like good food contains inedible poison, bhikkhu
